For over 200 days and nights, Bisan Owda, a Palestinian journalist, activist, and content creator has been documenting the Zionist occupation’s genocide of her people in Gaza, sharing the truth of the colonizers’ horrific crimes to the rest of the world - in real time, via social media.
This is Volume II of BY BISAN, a documentary compilation of Bisan’s Instagram coverage of the Gaza Holocaust from January 15th , 2024 to April 23rd, 2024 - days 101 to 200 of the genocide. This was assembled in the interest of inspiring the masses to form solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for liberation in the face of this monstrous colonial violence.
But our Bisan is not just a journalist; she is a Hakawatya (“storyteller”) committed to documenting and displaying the rich beauty of Palestinian culture, history, and everyday life. This is not just the record of a Holocaust, but an unprecedented portrayal of the strength, kindness, and humanity of a people who have never wavered in defying their oppressors with undefeatable joy and their passionate love of life.
Let the world watch this and come to understand the people we've failed for over 200 days - Let it reinvigorate our commitment to fighting for a free Palestine. This is not just History - this is REALITY, and it is NOT OVER.
