    she was unable to get certain things approved by the creators of anime in terms of references and costume and a couple of things she wanted to do on the album, did not get approved by those creators. She was bummed about that, but I think this all turned out great regardless. There are a lot of references to Japan Culture. the theme was a mythical story about The Snake Lady aka Nure-onna, a woman that turns into a snake, or has the head of a woman body of a snake. The blue paint, the color blue represents all things from purity to calmness in Japanese culture. The gentleman up front, the customer is a known Japanese actor from the show Tokyo Drift. The gentleman up front with the glasses is the artist Yuki-Chiba featured on the song and who is throughout the video.
    The first scene with meg and the other women is a nod/ reference to a scene from the Rush Hour movie. The last scene w/the army is a nod to a movie directed back in 1990 by Martin Scorsese, Akira Terao and others.
