Fafnir in action with Labrys weapon, perfect counter to titans and the new Ophion by using Svyatogor pilot. I wouldn’t recommend running Fafnir for the majority unless you can run almost the identical Fafnir setup with Kestrel. Once the NA and Kestrel speed perks are fully charged the Fafnir becomes as unstoppable as it used to be1 year ago, as seen from the video. You can bully titans and 150m harpoon weapons. And no it didn’t take me 100 games to get these footages. It’s between ~25 games I played with 3x Fafnir. Most games were decent but I certainly had games where I would get focused by some spike/stake/needle guy or reapers in the beginning. But the thing is if you manage to get full speed perks like in this video and your shield charged enough believe me no reaper or spike dude will be able to hit you perfectly.
Thanks for being honest with the amount of games. This type of footage can be misleading if you don't declare that this is a pretty normal performance or that it take several matches before recording one like the posted.

the faffy has always been a beast. its just how people don't dare to use faffys as they are meant to be played. always sticking with meta. i have tried all sorts of faffy builds. now enjoying laser faffys on yamantau.

Wow you were flying so fast w the khepri hooked up to you in beginning + kestril drone boosts. I wish they'd give fafnir more speed again. With all the spike/needle type weapons and all the stealth in the game today it's very frustrating to play against guys running lynx w spike type weapons and everything else always going stealth. I have an mk3 fafnir but it's hard to play I always get targeted in the air. The reaper weapons are just complete nonsense, way to strong. I hate playing big maps because of them. You play the fafnir very nicely always. 👌
This showcase really did the fafnir some justice prior to its ungodly nerf from last year. I was in pure shock to see it’s health pool just 4 minutes into game 1, let alone damage numbers 😅 It has since remained one of my favourite evolife bots, and I’m happy to see its performance evolved with the new weapon :)

@@AYGIRi tested it out and the overheating happens slower, it seems to be as slow as a pre-nerfed laser without the Harold pilot, maybe you can test this sometime?
Saw a comment for your pilot ability. I think ability should be called: *"Too Late for Regret"*, *"Charge Up"*, or *"Ability Specialist"*. And some possible abilities are: [1] All absorber shields last 8-12% longer, or [2] Built-in weapons deal 10-15% more damage. I gave undecided percent ranges that I think would be fair for every bot. Something good and compliments the Fafnir ability, but also universal and not too OP. Pantheon robots or even Demeter can also benefit.

Hey aygir, I have a full hangar of fafnirs with 3 kestrel drones. What setups would you recommend on them? I have all weapons except for the labrys
Hazard for long range, mace for close range and for dealing with rooks.
Razdor and Pulsar might do fine as well.
