Great video like always Kara. For me personally, I think traffic and noise are the most impactful. Even being dominican, I can’t get used to it 😂. I hope in a near future we can make progress to overcome those issues. Thanks for the video and hope for the next soon 😊👍

Well i think that it would always depend on the area you live in for most part of what you say. The water and the crazy driving yes, you shouldn’t drink it, and traffic accidents statistics are not higher than any other country with more strict rules. For the rest the area will determine it.

Well, It looks like most items in that list are negative. But I have to admit that yes, in most cases, is just like that; things may vary depending on the place or the cultural level of the people.
Thanks for taking the time to talk about my country. I'm willing to assist you or any of your compatriots if you need any orientation. Blessings.

9:33 Con razón te estás poniendo cada día más bonita! 5:50 my ex-step-daughter was terrified of those little lizards. I don't why: they're harmless but yeah. I'm from NYC so I find the DR to have very few roaches. And about the noise: I had to take a test online here and it said: "Find a quiet place to answer these questions" and I was like, "Impossible! I live in DR!"

Que gracias! Haha, I’m glad it’s not just me who notices the constant noise.

@@kara.g. What's been your experience with public libraries here? Have you been to one? Are they quiet?

@@EdwinLuciano I’ve never been to one!

@@kara.g. I study at the food court at Galeria 360 and it's not too bad. I don't have a car so driving to a library is probably a bit out of my way. I work at that Academia de Lenguas which is also in that mall so it's quite convenient in that sense.

You think you have it bad, I live in Florida and critters are normal, lizzards, as well as possums, alligators, foxes, iguanas, snakes and the list goes on,

That pink and white flower thing is a loofah that came in a gift package a student gave me. 😂 I don't use loofahs so it's just decoration.
