Question - In the split card hands where you were deciding between the pair or a 3 card straight flush, couldn't you use the same strategy that you would use for 6 card? Both of the 3 card straight flush was on a split card, so I think the strategy should be the same, but I could easily be wrong. Either way, win or lose, I love split card (and pick em poker)
7/5 bonus poker has about a 2% house edge, if played perfectly and maximum coins are bet. You can see examples of other bonus poker pay tables on our website, and how they affect the overall payback percentage, here - thejackpotgents.com/video-poker-pay-tables/bonus-poker-video-poker-pay-tables/
@@Mordecai154 Yes, the volatility is increased, because the hot roll feature doubles the bet, and also exactly doubles the payouts, albeit in an uneven way. But the average return percentage remains unchanged in this game because both the bet and payouts are increased by the exact same amount. This is something we should try to cover in Thursday training sessions (difference between EV and volatility) but we haven't gotten around to it yet.
I am so glad you ended with a win even at 1.25 win. Thanks for the video. It was good to see you play 5 hands so you had a chance with keeping your bankroll.
I would have kept the 7 9 10 suited + the 9 leaving 3 of a kind, house, even quads open too and higher chances of 2 pair. on that draw it would have earned 5 more credits.
@@Mordecai154 I am referring to the value of spending extra credits. Hot Roll Poker and Super Hot Roll Poker are produced by King Show Games. They are known to not add any return value to the overall return in terms of your wager. The bonus triggers 1 in 6 times and the average dice roll of 2 dice is 7. It is a long term even game. Super Hot Roll, the math is more complex but in the end it adds 0.01% to the overall return. Double Super Times Pay does add about 0.50% return, the average multiplier is high enough to provide more value than the average amount of credits spent on the bonus feature.
Split card makes you think! I like the different scenarios. I think quads is much more likely especially if you draw 3 of a kind with a split. You have 3 turn cards and 2 cards of 47 to hit it. Also much better for full houses too. I'd like to see a training video on this sometime! Thanks again for another good video.
The results are random and it shouldn't matter whether you stay on a particular machine or move to a different one. The only way you can conclude a machine is "cold" is to look at its past performance and that is no guarantee of future performance.
I think your strategy on split card is very shaky: when you are dealt a pair AND a split card you sholud hold the split card aswell - increasing your chances of 2 pairs and full house ( especially in bonus poker and jacks or better). Another example is near the end of the video when you are dealt a split card part of a potentiel royal ( think it j10 ) and you have another card for the royal AND a lower suited card tou should hold them both as you do in six card. Good luck from Denmark - enjoying your channel a lot!
Really isn't that bad is a pretty low bar...also adds nothing to the video,,,I really like watching the gents but they should try to raise it up a notch if they want grow@@davidc6928

Too much over analyzing and over thinking these hands, it’s a game of luck and when you start throwing statistics and percentages into the game it makes it less fun. It’s more like work and not entertainment. I know it’s your full time job and I do enjoy watching sometimes, but I get bored with all this dialog about percentages, gaps, strategies etc……..

Massive win. Well done lads 😃👍
Thanks 👍
can you explain how the split card works?

Wait…at 9:02 you say this is a negative expectation game. Isn’t this still 7/5 Bonus? What makes it a negative EV game?
7/5 Bonus Poker has less than 100% return, so you will always lose money on average. The hot roll feature does not change the return %.
@@MrBrain4 ahhhh. Got it. Thank you.
@@MrBrain4 and I'm sure if anything the hot roll feature makes it even MORE volitale!

Leave with a win!!!!!
The split card is always suited.

Wasn’t very lucky on TDBP, DDBP or DBP yesterday so I switched to BP and drew 4 aces with a kicker on the very first draw! So days I really hate VP!
EVERY time! Or when you switch to deuces and start getting loads of natural quads
nothing wrong with breaking even sometimes- keeps in the game for next time.
Double Super Times Pay 7/5 Bonus Poker is a far superior game than Super Hot Roll.
yes I know it is we have just had the worst luck with multipliers in DSTP. WE will film it again this week and see how it goes
@@TheJackpotGents Thanks for including Double STP. Unfortunate that Dania got rid of the wrong All Star Poker II machine.
Can you tell me what makes it a far superior game than Hot Roll? Curious to know. Thanks. My casino just got in new DSTP machines.

These Split Card decisions make my brain hurt.
Taking your winnings and leaving, can cost your winnings at another place, too. Stay with a hot machine.

PLEASE lose the elevator music, very annoying.

Videos are becoming too short for having meaningful sessions or to watch. Cutting a session at 19ins for a 1.25 win, why even bother at that point
Bad decisions again oh well that's what happens when u go with strategies you would have made 400 more of u played double double
Matt it’s all show,I call it reckless, there kinda play is not realistic.
