CATHERINE LABOURE, Saint of the Miraculous Medal - Pt. 1 of 2

- Although most Catholics, and some non-Catholics, are familiar with the Miraculous Medal and its origin, few know much about St. Catherine Laboure, the woman to whom the medal was first revealed by the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this two-part series, we'll explore the fascinating character and life of this 19th-century visionary.
I have always had a particular interest in and devotion to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, having attended church and school as a child in the parish of that name (nicknamed "OLMM") in Ridgewood, NY. I now live near Philadelphia, where the Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal has its home in Germantown. It seems that Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is never far from me! Although I had learned the story of the Miraculous Medal as a child from the nuns who taught at OLMM school, I didn't know much beyond the basic facts about St. Catherine Laboure, to whom the medal was first manifested. Always fascinated by saints, mystics, and visionaries, I wanted to find out more about her, and that's how I came to create this series. I hope you find it interesting!

Since this is my channel, it was my idea, so thank you for calling me "brilliant!" 😂😂😂 Seriously, I always make a sincere effort in production to balance the voiceover and music, and to me it sounds balanced, but sometimes when posted on RUclips it might sound different to different viewers. Anyone who actually makes RUclips videos will know this process can be tricky. Since the music is part of the voiceover track, it cannot be removed without deleting the whole video, which I certainly won't be doing. Sorry you didn't enjoy the video, but I hope you'll understand that as a new channel I'm doing my best and always striving to learn and improve. Have a great day!😊

Thank you for responding. I hope I don't sound offensive to you, but I have a degree in audiology and let me explain one detail. For normal people, when they hear TV in an air-conditioning room, the brain automatically blocks the noise of an air-conditioner and concentrates on TV. People with hearing loss prescribed hearing aids, which automatically amplify all the sounds, the narrative and the background, as only the brain is capable of differentiating that. Of course I'm not asking you to erase the video, just explaining how the background noise can interfere. I guess the lower decibel of the background would help.

@@randomrandom3057 Thank you., and truly I understand because one of my own pet peeves is very loud background music on videos. I do try to keep mine low, but I will be very careful in future. I do think that music enhances narration videos but I totally get it about the volume.
