What i love about Henk is that this was his choice of song, and he chose Emma to sing it with. And you can see at the end that he steps back to let her take the show with some of those last notes, he's all about showing off what others can do and helping them get there.

Ann, Heath is not going anywhere because he's a metalhead like us. The lamestream labels and press have always hated metal and hate it more now than ever. They would always rather not make money than promote it. It's just us, always. Except when a band gets too big to ignore. Then it's us again.
That's something many in the Nightwish army have not learned yet. Tuomas and Floor know the score, though. Sorry if I sound like a downer.

Everyone who has eyes knows there's a little bit of crabs in a bucket mentality in metal. But there are bad memories also. The forces that put down metal have at times picked one band to load with accolades while the rest is jeered at. That's where the Metallica hate comes from. It was very little they did. They didn't burn bridges, others did it for them.
Did you notice how complimentary Floor was towards the genre in her interviews?
She knows.
You can remind some newer members of Nightwish army to always make sure to be in the tent pissing out, not the other way around. Call it bonding with the other metalheads. ;-)

Many noobs look to you, make sure they know other bands may be seen as rivals, but the enemies of the music they love are elsewhere!
Ruben and Tim were the two guys stunned at the beginning, Floor and Samantha were just flat out enjoying it and Rolf was the guy in stunned disbelief in the canter. If someone took the time to edit all Rolf's reactions into one video it would be a smash in no time.
Yeah you are so right! Having talent is one thing, developing a voice through thorough training is really hard work. That she pulled this off standing next to this giant, demands respect for her. If you look at her facial expressions it's clear that she is really looking up to this guy. She surely performed impressively during this season!

Who ever sings with him gains extra confidence i'd say, he puts them at ease and lets them shine, he can do that because he is always in full control of everything.

I don't think he needed to put the others at ease, they were getting to know each other before the show even started so they got to know him and probably already noticed he is just a nice and decent guy without any arrogance.

The guy mister Henk Poort is a monster with his voice. To realise all the songs in this program from this number and the one with Floor Jansen from phantom of the opera. Even despacito he sings everything without music in his ears only from memory and pure on feeling.
He is one of the best musical and opera singers the Netherlands know

That was Rolf, he always looks like that when he is stunned. There's no hiding when he's amazed by someone. His reaction when Floor sang his song showed how reacts.
Emma’s a cover artist who sings in different languages. Her father’s a conductor, so music is obviously in her family. But she’s an amazing vocalist, whether she works from RUclips or a street corner or the stage. The fact that she can hold her own with a master like Henk is testament to her talent.

4:53 Floor was floored. The Beste Zangers 2019 was full of excellent singers. All of them amazing, with Henk one head above and Floor two heads above. I haven't seen the other seasons but I find it hard to believe they were anywhere near this quality.

Her audio is wonderful; his sounded a little muddy at first. Yeah, they truly do have a gift in their voices. I just have to keep reminding myself that these are all professional musicians reacting with awe to the talents of their peers. When Floor brought them all to their feet at the end of Phantom I damn near cried. Not that she’s ever made me cry ever time at some point (esp) in The live versions of PatP or GSoE. (Insert tears of joy emoji here).

There has been no brunette that has put her spell on me over the years like Floor. But man....Emma (as a blonde,i tend to prefer brunettes),i thought she looked smashing first time i saw her,but nothing more then a pretty face. But it only took her 1 excellent After Forever tribute,to turn all my emotions all kinds of sideways,and now i got a duo crush on Floor & Emma........darnit! Emma is by far the biggest surprise from this show,as she didnt have a own artist career from before. She was "just a" RUclips cover artist. Yo! I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I would (if you can even get hold of them) suggest some of the songs from the Swedish version of the same show as this one, Så Mycket Bättre. In particular I hope you'd enjoy "Greetings from Space" by Amanda Jensen and Ola Salo, their duet number. I know this might be a bit out of your normal field, but I still think it is one of the best rock performances from the whole show.
He is not Tim, Tim is sitting next to the young Ruben. Rolf Sanchez is the guy that should be put in a meme for some of those opened mouth moments and faces he was making. Actually him and the guy hosting the show had a perfect meme scene during the Phantom of the Opera... 😂

I was gonna say that you undermined all their hard work saying their vocals were given by a higher being but then you go on and state the obvious about the hard work it takes to mold them that way. Even Queen Floor had to strive to mold her chords to their eargasmic level. It doesn't matter if you like metal, rock, pop or rap....you cannot be indifferent to such talent and if this performance doesn't move you even a bit then you need to see a psychologist/psychiatrist :-p
