Oh, so it's inspired by rocket crowbar? I really like the custom controllable npc, like the flying Alien Controller gets ability to shoot homing energy balls that divide in to small ones or charge a big energy ball that blast nearby foes with electric arc and damaging foes restoring your health. I don't expect to see rocket crowbar enemies but I like what you've done so far.
Ironically, the Shock Rifle (altfire only) is also my most favourite weapon in modern sven co-op mod, simply because of how complex the attack is. But I simultaneously hate how weak and rare it is. Would absolutely love this "force lightning" attack turned in to an independent weapon with infinite ammo or at least passive quick ammo regen and buffed characteristics like adding minor lightning DOT debuff, making chain-lightning effect to be constant by making it appear far more frequent by reducing interval and removing damage immunity from some monsters to lightning. Would it be possible?

Or even better - a dual hand wield magic Lightning Force of infinite use like from Star Wars to make you feel like Imperator Palpy where each hand emits lightning like Shockrifle's altfire. I really love electric/lightning weapons with proper physics and it's so rare to see them in first person video games, the only games I know that have them is Tesla Cannon from Wolfenstein series, namely 2009 and RTCW. However, whoever made shock rifle altfire for sven 5.25 did an amazing job (in the sense of amount of programming skills), the lightnings are really beautiful and it shows that plenty of code went to make ot work properly and polished. It have exactly what makes the shock rifle a proper electric weapon: it have smart auto-target aim system that lock on toward all the foes on screen within the effective range, doing smooth continuous damage, and on top it have chain-lightning effect that makes targeted enemies attack nearby enemies with chain lightning, bouncing from target to target woth continuous damage. YET such an awesome weapon you only get it like only once on a map if RNG was nice to you and spawned shock trooper, and yet you be able to use it for like 2 seconds, then the weapon explode in your hands, such a disappointment... The only thing that would make it better is it also cause enemies to suffer small damage-over-time affliction debuff that will shock foes for 3 seconds or something with minimal damage once you stop hitting foes with lightning, purely for immersion and depth of the electric physics.

Yeah that's the idea, I'm tryna recreate it in Sven Co-op:ayaya: It's just an entity that moves with the invisible player, animated based on player input, and mostly bashing my head on the keyboard :hehe:

Not like I am saying that you should port them, just that maybe you will enjoy the weapons for yourself. There are also really awesome Magical, very fun weapons from Wizard Wars and Master Sword Continued, they got open source so you can alter them for your preference!
