I like how the scene doesn't call for him to continue shooting, yet they realistically had him reload his rifle, expecting more shooting. That's very believable and gets you more into this guy's background. Even dying, he's ready to go out swinging

The great thing about this movie is they didn't pick some bulky dude to play Danny. It Leo, he's kinda skinny and doesn't look like a soldier but that's the point. It's not about what they look like it's the drive inside of them and the will they have to fight for a cause they seem worthy to die for & that is what this scene is means most to me. He's been a soldier & see what the diamond industry has done to the continent because he himself was smuggling diamonds. The fact that he chooses to leave the diamond with Solomon and stay behind to defend their escape say alot about soldiers and Danny

You can see that the terrain to his right is really low. What does a thicker handguard have to do with anything? Weapon performance is better? Or just looks better?
I think with that rifle he absolutely could have, shooting that quick and moving from Target to Target is not an easy thing. But he has also proven in the film that he is quite the capable Marksman and quite the gunfighter. So if I had to venture I guess it would be yes he could make those shots. They wouldn't be easy by any means and even if he only wounded the second one and didn't touch the third, it's still enough to keep them pinned
For me is a XM177E2. With some crazy custom flash hidder (xm have strips on the end of it). Btw this carbine is very good looking stuff. M4 or other latest version of Ar15 have thicker handguards. BTW scene is great.
It's a 10" - 10.5" barrel (XM177e1/Colt 609 & Colt 607) with a 607 moderator on A2 receivers, so it's basically an XM177E1 on a modern carry handle. XM177E2's have 11.5" barrels.

If they could get immediate medical treatment at the airfield? Not to mention there were mercernaries coming up behind them taking pot shots at them from below.
