Thank you to anyone who considers giving a Super Thanks! The Super Thanks will help me afford a new tripod to keep filming these painting adventures! (my old one broke!) 🙏❤️
Been very struggling to create any art for the past few years and in less than three minutes I feel like I'm gonna cry. Thank you for your inspirational attitude and mindset.
I feel you Oliver. It's tough sometimes. I've been struggling with it too off and on the past couple years. Just remember you can do it, and not to be too hard on yourself and just simply try to do something that seems easy and doable and get the ball rolling. All the best!
@@DannySabraArt Thank you! I got off the couch and went to paint in the park yesterday. I think I'm going out again today :) You are awesome, thank you again!
Awesome, I totally agree on making a good composition out of almost anything. I went out yesterday and did a plein air with watercolor, I couldnt find a "good" subject, but took the liberty of taking out some things I can see and make a pretty good composition instead
That’s a great way of doing it too. I know Michael Chamberlain often does that as well. At the end of the day if we can do something to make a good painting why not? But I also just like the idea of taking things from the place of being dependent on a given situation to be perfect for painting and putting things back into the domain of our control to make a picture out of what we have.
Great video Danny! - I think you’re got the papery feel of the garlic skin just great and the subtlety of the colours. I’m a big fan of Ian Robert’s design driven approach to painting - totally getting away from the time wasting procrastination of waiting for the perfect set of circumstances and light in which to paint. We can all be guilty of this stuff, excuse making etc. but it’s certainly good to recognise it 😀👍
100% Fiona. And thank you! Yeah recognizing that mental shift can really make a big difference. I also think not taking things too seriously allows me to sketch more etc and that always adds up in the long run.
Thank you! I’m always experimenting with underpainting and drawing tones. Alizarin is nice because of its transparency too. I haven’t used it in a while, so I might need to bust it out again! Lately I’ve been doing my drawing with pencil instead of the brush.
Your imagination is the result of extraordinary work. Thank you my friend. my humble work as a beginner who is still learning from you. watch me with my simple abstract. Thank you my friend. 😍😍❤❤ see my abstract painting.

Absolutely! Thank you for watching!
Great vid!
Thank you!
Wonderful!
Thank you!
Using Alizarin Crimson for the underpainting is perfect because of the undertones in the garlic.
