I own this scooter for 9 month now so I can tell few things to consider if someone is interested: Bad: 1) lumber support is a bit too far back even after adjustment (I am 1.83cm) - still not ideal seating position and the passanger sits too close which means it hits you with a helmet from time to time 2) the consumption of fuel - quite thirsty - in winter 5.1l per 100km, in summer 4.6l - around 250km per tank + there is no indicator that would show how many km you can still go 3) no indicator of outside temperature 3) that app of kymco is useless 4) on a highway ( above 120km/h)- extremely unstable - it feels like twe wheels are not aligned or something .. I changed tyre from Dunlop to Michelin - little improvement but still the same problem - let me know if anyone can relate to this and can suggest how to fix this (?) - I had Honda forza 300 previously and it felt super stable on the highway regardless of the speed - if u drive only in the city (up to 80-90km/h) - great bike, but definitely not for touring with this unstable behaviour 5) dash board - too bright in dark and the light cannot be dimmed 6) wind shield - not enough on high speeds - need an extenstion or taller shield but it would compromise the looks 7) loud turn signal ticking is more annoying then helpful and switching on the singal is quite hard actually 8) it comes orginally with Dunlop tyres that look good but are more designed to go on track, than on the road 9) switch for the far light for bypassing is dangerously inconvenient so I never use it 9) no heated seats 10) suspension not adjustable and probably needs to be upgraded in the back but costs 700 EUR. Good points - 1) looks 2) engine has a nice grunt and can pull 3) price 4) quite a big storage under the seat. 4) good horn 5) good lights in the night 6) cruise works fine and is easy to operate 7) heated grips work well 8) breaks are good.
Hi! Did you find the problem of instability at high velocity on highway? It's pretty strange (i'm not an owner of the AK premium, i'm just looking for information before buying), everybody seem to tell that it's pretty stable.... Didn't you have other fiability problems? If you can tell me! Thanks a lot.
@@Remopnot sure - seems to me people try the scooter in good weather with no wind - 4me wind and wet surface on the highway seem to be the biggest factors for instability (I didn't find any other factors) - I tried yamaha Tmax tech max and there was no problem. My guess is something is off with the weight distribution but you will have to take a test drive to be the judge.
Thanks for your response! Indeed, i think i have to try it. In this video (ruclips.net/video/HlSuZo80BkM/видео.html), the person push the scooter to 190km/h and it seems really stable, and some other random guys told that it was really steady even with rain on highway. But i take any feeling of ccurrent owners about the scooter. Thanks a lot!
@@Remop i have owned this for around 3 months. No issue with stability at high speed. Mine is AK550 premium. Not sure if the issues mentioned earlier on the AK550 standard which sold in Europe for quite sometime. Daily ride or cruise its awesome. Top notch braking and as while as ride performance. Comfortable for a 97kg/180cm person.
Bro, I have few questions: 1. Is the dashcam built-in to the bike? If not, what dashcam do you installed? 2. I notice that you install insta360 on the brake reservoir. What is that accessories? Where to find it? 3. Where can I get the monorack for the bike?
Everything you see on the bike is all from Motor Sport. They have all the accessories you mentioned. Including the Dashcam, a Global Eagle brand, the ball mount on the brake reservoir is actually from an phone holder and the monorack is something Motor Sport just brought in.

I think this is most perfect AK550 review to date
I am looking forward to the AK Premium. My current bike is the X-Town 300i which is an awesome bike, but it's a little too short for me.
Which is better, bigger, longer siri x town or ak 550?
X town long 2.250 and Ak 550 2.165 how short do you think it is?
@@ariesmarsexpress Thanks for the answer...Let me ask you this..Which is better, Ak 550 or x town 300 in everything, not only in terms of volume?
Gambar Jannah nick eh? Amboii..😅

Excellent review and very good English.

Ak 550
i live in JB, and i don't know why Medini is empty
