I had a 2007 K1200GT and put 130K miles on it before I sold it. I loved the bike so much, I bought a used 2010 K1300GT in 2015 and currently have 102K miles on that one. Great bike.
Duo-Lever suspension on the front and Paralever on the back are fitted on the K bikes ( Telever front end and Paralever rear are fitted to the Boxer bikes)
@@robertbrandywine I don't like the term middle-weight for these bikes. They're real pigs in city traffic, and you really have to wrestle them when it's stop-and-go. Even though the weight is in the low 500s (~250kg), the center of gravity is up high, and they're hard to turn. Solid bike on the freeway though.
@@Porsche996driver I had a K1200 GT which had many issues and yes very different bike to the 1300 which has timing chain and clutch issues to name two. Everyone to each and there own, I'm over 60 having my first motorcycle from 8 and many Many MANY since, No Bike No Life to coin a phrase. Best of luck to you and yours ol son.
@@Porsche996driver pheraps you are poor. These bikes are for albanian or gipsy that want appear with low budget. You can buy a good bije with 30000km for 2500 euro (for k 1200 gt). And YES ARE FULL OF BIG PROBLEMS. AND you how many years old are?

Great color. These are also bulletproof, completely comfortable and unstressed in any country that has a speed limit.

Great review
Not a music video
But an actual review of the bike.
She's a beauty😍
Thank you
I have a 2008 k1200 gt, I have worked out most of the issues..great bike!! I'm sure the 1300 is even better
It was, front suspension updated. Still $$$ to maint.
Just bought this exact same bike. Bike of the year 2009/2010 yet it disappeared from the BMW lineup in 2011 and later...
Looks like a updated honda st1100
duo-lever ... not tele ;oP
"Cruiser" seems to be a misnomer to me........
Yeah, it is a sport tourer or a middle-weight tourer.

Yes beautiful bike what a shame they have massive issues and catastrophic failures.
1300s is the same ?
They have no issues when properly maintained. How old are you lol.

Take the Honda VFR1200f over this all day long.
Designed for Japanese speed limits of 62mph. Apparently you’re in no hurry all day long lol.
@@Porsche996driver hit 175mph on it just the other day. Designed for high speeds. Felt very stable. The VFR1200F is the Honda Black bird replacement!
