Fun and colorful and your tutorial on layering was so helpful. Sometimes colors and pattern mixes are difficult to chose to get desired effect. This was lovely. TFS ❤️
Love your layouts. They’re beautiful and the way you talk about your process makes it easy to follow along. Like another commenter I’m also wondering about the trimmer switch? Mostly because I’m considering getting the CM trimmer. I have the same Fiskars trimmer as you but the wire broke years ago and I’m growing tired of replacing the blades so frequently. Thanks
Hello. Thanks for watching. As I wrote to Joan, I'm always in search of a better trimmer! I like the Fiscar trimmer, but when I need to cut a very precise measurement, like when I cut my frame foundations, I'm always 1/16"-1/8" off. I suspect the extension arm doesn't open fully. I thought I would try the CM one, and so far, so good. I've had it for about a month and I haven't changed blades yet, so I cannot compare the blade longevity at this point. I loved the wire on the Fiscars trimmer. How sad your wire broke! Have a nice day!
I recently bought a similar trimmer from Tonic. It has little arrows on the sides of the blades allowing for easier gutting of pages! I’m happy with it so far - my fiskars wire broke long ago and I finally put it in a giveaway table at a crop lol.
Where did u get your vision wheel I didn’t see it on your list at the scrapbook nerd store ( know I don’t have the right name I’ve wanted one of those for a long time ? That would be great if you could guide me ? Your pages are just amazing !
Oh yes ! We all want that view master wheel! This one was in my stash. It was made from a retired die and gifted to me. I treasure my tiny stash of them! I've been looking for a view master wheel die for years without success. (I have a tiny one from echo park but it does not compare to the 4" wheel I used. If ever I find one, I'll be sure to share on this channel.
Beautiful as always Dorothy! Curious.. why change between the creative memories cutter and the fiskar? What does the creative memories one not do, that you needed to switch? I have the creative memories one, but originally started with the fiskar. All the best!
@@csinc182 I definitely recommend the CM cutter. And the additional blades are great! Was curious why Dorothy switched in her video. Maybe she will chime in with feedback .. or do a video lol
Thanks Joan. I switched in the middle just to gut the pink paper. I'm sure the CM trimmer would have been just as good but it's new to me and I'm still getting familiar with it. I love my CM trimmer so far, but when gutting my paper, I see better with the Fiscar trimmer. (This was my first response then I realized I didn't answer your question...I'll it leave it here anyway...."I'm always in search of a better trimmer! Hi Dorothy. In several of your videos I have seen a mesh (?) bag that you store some older stash in. Do you have a link to those bags where they can be purchased? I've been looking for something that will hold paper and supplies that go with the collection. Thanks!
Those bags are great (and tough). I've been using them for years. They are vinyl with mesh inside, and have a zippered closure. Mine were included with Studio Calico scrapbooking kits. (They no longer sell scrapbooking kits.) Avery Elle makes them. I checked the Scrapbook Nerd and the Scrapbook. com . The product appears on both sites but in both places they were unavailable when I looked. I hope this helps!

Chester is well and very playful. He has been absent from my videos lately though. I guess I'm filming during his nap time! Thanks for watching!
Since starting to watch your videos I have begun to use more layers, you take the mystic out of it and explain the process well.
I'm happy it helps! Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Really appreciate all the responses.
Before I get to ask, do you have a link for the divided plastic tray you use to hold your supplies? I haven’t been able to find anything close.
Hello Erin. My tray comes from the cosmetic section at Dollarama. I checked their online store and it's not listed. Sorry!
I have found them at Dollar Tree
Great layout and tips! Love it
Thanks so much!
Love how it turned out! What is that white and green tool you use to lift up your papers? It looks very useful. Thank you Dorothy!!
That is called a multi purpose tool from Creative Memories. I love it!
