malasadas are a deep friend ball of flower with maybe a teaspoon of a canned fruit stuffed inside, then rolled so the grease picks up the teeth vibrating sweet Granular sugar to cover. It's like you bought an overpriced Donut that you just dropped into the beach sand. It was so expensive you just picked it up and ate it anyway

Needless to say everything in Hawaii is very expensive

@@BISDAK2023 50c Tops for ingredients and prep. Hawaii cost. WAY OVERPRICED. The taste is nothing but overload of pure sugar and grease. Wait till they cool down and try to eat one. The grease will creame over the surface. Try a real well made fresh donut if you can find one on the Island.

I've never been to Kua (or the Big Island) in Winter. It's crazy how different the beach conditions are. The was a hole in the wall pizza place above Kona along the highway that made great malasadas. The owner was from New York, and he stuffed a bag with them and said, "try these". We went back several times, so good! The ones you were eating looked equally amazing. Is that food truck still selling malasadas around Kohala?

Yes I actually passed the truck as I was going Home and if I knew he was going to be there, I would’ve never drove to honoka’a.

That breakfast looked like it broke da mouth, i love that coffee place, gotta try the malasadas (they look good), i like the drone shots, and its intense seeing that cove without any sand... the last time i was there with sandy beach i swear there were thousand people. Those showers are a miracle too haha. Liking your channel so far, Jr 😎👍 you should go to uncle roberts, the maku'u market, suisan fish market in hilo for some poke by coconut island, hike down to Pololū valley, or go jump off south point 😊

Thank you steak was good, and malasadas was even better. And yes I never go in the water when there is no sand too scary. And I sure will try to go Suisan before I leave.also south point and pololu never been appreciate the recommendation.🤙🏼

It even gets a whole lot colder since it’s the closest town to Maunakea, that snows and have snow storm every winter.
