केन्द्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण इतिहास रचते हुए लगातार आठवां बजट पेश किया, जो उनके किसी भी पूर्ववर्ती के मुकाबले भारतीय इतिहास में बैक-टू-बैक सबसे ज्यादा बजट है. मोदी सरकार के 3.0 कार्यकाल का पहला पूर्णकालिक बजट निर्मला सीतारमण के कार्यकाल का एक और मील का पत्थर है. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने अगले हफ्ते नए इनकम टैक्स बिल लाने का एलान किया है. अब 12 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर कोई टैक्स नहीं देना होगा. नौकरी-पेशा लोगों के लिए ये काफी महत्वपूर्ण एलान है. इसके साथ ही, बुजुर्गों के लिए टैक्स छूट 1 लाख रुपये तक की गई है.
उन्होंने आर्थिक विकास को रफ्तार देने के लिए कई अहम घोषणाएं की है. जिसके बाद इलेक्ट्रिक व्हिकल, एलसीडी, मोबाइल फोन और उसकी बैट्री, कैंसर की 36 दवाईयों के साथ ही कपड़े के बने सामान सस्ते हो जाएंगे.
निर्मला ने अपने बजट भाषण में दाल उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भरता पर जोर और वित्तीय सेक्टर में सुधार के संकेत दिए. साथ ही, मछली उत्पादन में बढ़ावा देने, बिहार के किसानों को स्पेशल पैकेज देने का एलान किया. बजट भाषण में उन्होंने कहा कि भारत को फूड बास्केट बनाया जाएगा और किसानों के इनकम बढ़ाए जाएंगे. पूर्व भारत में यूरिया प्लांट खोलने की योजना है. बिहार में मखाना बोर्ड का गठन किया जाएगा. उन्होंने कहा कि एमएसएमई की क्षमता लगातार बढ़ रही है. स्टार्ट अप के लिए लोन की सीमा बढ़ाई जा रही है. कॉटन प्रोडक्शन पर जोर दिया जाएगा.
