I can get that from the Bible with commentaries. Have a meaningful Advent, because we need it !

I have not been a church goer. I believe of a higher power. But now I really believe in evil trying to take over the good. I now pray more and I now believe in the the Bible and things are coming to be and we must all stand together against this evil. As a Catholic I'm incredibly grateful for the Sacrament of Confession/Reconciliation that was instituted by Christ to his Apostles. I never would want confession, reparation, and repentence to be my "private" responsibility. Going and fessing up to a person standing Persona Christi, is incredibly comforting. As humans we are way to inclined to pride in order to admit our failures/faults/sins but Christ ask us for humility. In that humility there is incredible never ending forgivness, love, and Mercy extended from God to us.

I sure am enjoying this sermon. I want to see it again when it is Advent. A reminder about how carousing and/or drunkenness is the very opposite of being courageous. Both only serve to increase our levels of anxiety in a never ending desire for more of the same. That is why Advent is for us a joyous celebration each week of it.
King David said "A little longer and the wicked one will be no more. You will certainly consider his place and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will inherit the earth and they will find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace!" Psm 37:10,11. Our Lord Jesus quoted from this psalm in his beatitudes in Matt 5. God's light can never be extinguished!
Let's us look for the coming of the Light! Let us Adore Christ! Let us keep Christ in Christmas! Make time to go to Adoration to spend time with Jesus on Christmas. I feel like I am already dead inside hearing about all this...I am not going to die from fear I am already terrified....my heart is fatigued. I can't take anymore...I just want it to end now....waiting for it IS making me anxious. I can't mentally handle this End Times 😢. I do trust God and I believe him. Jesus said many, many times “Do not be afraid”. You should not fear the end. Be faithful, stay in a state of grace and think, say and pray “Jesus, I trust in you”.

I grew up catholic. I don’t recall a church service that was interesting to me as a child. This priest always has an interesting message. I like him.
When we were children it usually seemed boring and uninteresting, cause we were children and didn't understand the faith.
