Alan is a great person. I put part of my system together with HIFI buys and upgraded over time. I bought from various dealers upgrading my system over time. Have Sonus Faber Aida 2's for loud speakers, audioquest dragon cables, 2 VAC 452 IQ musicblocks one to each Sonus Faber, VAC pre-amplifier, DCS APEX Vivaldi stack. Pro-tip: Rather than alot of power conditioners you often if possible can get better sound upgrading to copper bus electrical panel and then running 10 gage copper romex to dedicated electrical outlets. You can put master surge protector on the house or electrical panel itself. If you are in an apartment or place it's not practical than power conditioners can make sense although I have found they can actually be a negative sometimes for very high end gear that already has that built in.
Wow Joel! You've definitely stepped your system up big time since the last time I saw you! I bet it sounds absolutely stunning! If you ever want to hear what CH Precision can do in your system, let me know! I'd love to bring one out for you to hear. After replacing our Vivaldi APEX stack, we were shocked by how much better it is. Happy listening!
Even on my not perfect secondary HI FI speakers and amplifier I must admitt kind of sound is like I prefer. I appreciate that it is not breaking 100k $ but due to some reasons like no comparable savings at account... ok forget it. Congrats for producers for result and the price
You definitely don’t have to spend this kind of money to get great sound, but for those looking to squeeze every last drop of detail out of recordings, these are definitely among the highest performance products available today. We also sell a system that comes in under $1,000 total, so we very much believe that there great performance to be had at all price points! Happy listening!
@@HiFiBuys I sacrified tens of years begining in 1970 for building, trying many very different systems and for aligning and by way I developed some unique interesting ideas aiming the reality of sound on level which I could not hear in other way I believe for my moderate loudness needs I managed to get excellent result which last times (as for me) justifies it . . (or at least it was my satisfactory hobby filling most of free from my professions). if I could calculate my time and effort then (as I said) I congratulate producer the moderate price below 100k $.
Thanks for watching! We don’t have any in stock right this moment but have a few on order that should be here in a week or two from what we’ve been told. The E3 system is $2,750 for the cartridge and phonostage. Please reach out to the store @ 770-931-0606 or info@hifibuys.com if you’d like to reserve one of the sets that are on the way.
You’re absolutely right! The majority of systems that we recommend are $50k or less, some much less! There are great options available at all budgets, but this system is an example of what is possible. Our job is to fit as much of the experience provided by this kind of system as possible into your room and budget. Thanks for watching!
There are, and for many people those pops and clicks are worth it for the experience created from listening to vinyl! And if you can’t get past the occasional but inevitable pop and clicks, there are a lot of phenomenal digital sources available. Happy listening!
I must say that I changed my mind about LP records - they no need to click,(no any pops of my small 100 piece collection) with only one condition that people did not hurt them with hands and tone arms in past. When I play just not damaged LPs I ask myself -"where is realy noise and clicks which were the reason for devolopement of CDs?" Answer is "they are on damaged LPs"
Yet another outstanding video! Excellent work, team!
Really enjoying these videos - thank you !
Thank you for watching!

Thanks for watching!

Nice system but you don't need to spend half a million to get fantastic sound ..... plenty of great alternatives for one tenth the price ,

And there are still plenty of pops and clicks I would imagine.😔
