Get the roller spring perches from Opentracker Racing. You will love the way the car drives. We used Opentracker’s street kit on our 65 and we love it.

Hey bud, thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind for a future build because on this one, I already installed Coilovers, and you won't need the perches for that setup...I'm sure it's not going to be my only classic mustang 🤣

the bolt for the lower control arm goes in from the rear not the front , the engine cross member prevents it from falling out if the nut ever comes loose

Yes, you are right, but if ever come loose and the bolt gets closer to the cross member you will be almost gone, and I didn't want to remove that because with all the weight on the car right know and no sport braces or Montecarlo bar and the car on jacks I didn't want to have the risk of any flexing on the frame rails or anything like that, that why I ended up using son lock washers on those lower control arms 👍🏻

Looks like a great kit. Loving your channel’s content but the only thing missing is the reason why (I.e. improve the drivability or reliability) and some post install review.

Thanks bud 👍🏻👍🏻...well basically my project is a restomod, like you said to make it more reliable and more fun to drive...the plan is to make videos to review every modification, but for that we have to wait a little bit because I need the car almost finished to do that or at least drivable...the car was upgraded to a v8 and a t5 trans to work better with today's roads and highways that includes a better suspension, diferent brake system, etc....if I want to travel with the car it will be better with upgraded parts and honestly when you start doing some modifications it's hard to stop hahahaha

One more thing why since you had the U/C off did you not do the shelby drop???

Because I didn't have any starting point so I just wanted stock height, and see how is going to look when is all done, but I don't dislike the idea maybe in the future..I'm pretty sure that I won't stop playing with the car...😂

Sorry but it looks like the first bushing on the adj strut rod is backwards the little round part is suppose to fit into the hole on the car 's frame

Hey bud, thanks for your comment. The bushings were installed correctly following the manufacturer specs...the chrome piece that you see in between of both is the one that fits on the car frame 👍🏻
