Pac is the best period! Them death row dudes were calling that studio the "wack room" cuz the beats weren't jumping out at you but Pac understood that great artists can make anything dope. Listen to the hail mary beat it's not "all that" yet it's a classic smh.
***** The producer for him didn't matter as much. It's usually the other way, where some rappers need a legendary or a very good producer.

Naw the beat is actually very good the whole creation but the beat was good
That's what makes this album so special! Its because of those production flaws that pac actually wanted! He wanted the production in its rawest form. That was the beauty of it! I loved that pac kept them on there and left it as is. Only pac can pull that off.
Not only my fav Pac album but my favorite album. The feels in this album, the feels man.
Hail mary is one of the dopest beats in history .

If I had to pick one album of his,IMO Makaveli album was the best one. The first time I heard this album,I remember listening to it from beginning to end. That shit was on another level!💯

You should have asked Daryl about the intro to bomb first where the words "suge shot me" can be heard faintly.
That whole intro and the sound effects are actually from a movie, I thought the same thing like 16yrs ago when I was in 8th grade. One day I was reading with my TV on in the background and a movie was on, that part came on and I was like holy shit, that's the makaveli intro, it was an older movie from like the 70s or 80s... so that's that. I always wondered if Death Row paid for the sample.

I've always noticed that bomb first was off key but still always loved the song anyway from the first time I heard it. I always wondered if they did that on purpose. I guess they kind of did? It would be REALLY genius if a great producer did it with purpose and played off key on purpose. Which isn't really the case.. But it's still pretty impressive from Pac to have that in the moment, raw creativity to just leave it
