Fantastic review! My first born is now four months old. Bought a second hand Cross 2 months ago but only now just got the jogging kit and infant sling. Just cleaned the thing up and installed the kit. Can't wait to take it out on a practice run tomorrow!
Thanks, just did 5 miles in it with my daughter. 22 mph wind gusts made me out in a little extra :) it’s amazing.
Doing the Lord’s work with this awesome review…thank you!!
You are so welcome!
Awesome review! Thanks for the tips on the USB Fans and books and everything.
I have one but never thought of these, thanks!
Awesome! Glad this helped.
I was in my chariot until I was 10 I loved it. It was a cozy place for me to rest
That’s incredible. My kids are struggling to fit at 5 and 3.
😂
It's encouraging seeing you able to sit in it. I've been wondering how this would work for an infant with my 6 year old that is 4 feet tall and ~55 pounds occasionally joining them.
I just did a 10 mile run with my 5 year old and 3 year old. 5 year old is hitting the edge of comfortable with length and side space next to the 3 year old, but it can be done. Weight isn't an issue. Just less space. but with the baby sling, and a new born, (I have a 4 week old that will be in it soon) it wouldn't be an issue.
Good review and details. Well done sir.
@@Djpauly_bobo thank you! This one was a lot of work :)
The review I needed thank you !
@@robertomelgar1905 awesome!
Good review!
Question. If you went back and had your first kid, planning to have another about two years apart, would you buy the single or double from the start?
Thanks. Personally I’d go with the double since it has more range and functionality, if I could only get one. However, with the newborn, we often used the single with the infant car seat adapter and if we hadn’t had the single Thule we’d have to have used another stroller for that early newborn phase. We just had our 3rd kid and it wasn’t till about 1-2 months old that we could use the infant sling in the double Thule.
Feel free to hit me with any other questions.
Thank you for the review. Is it suitable to do some trekking? Easy trekking
Yes. It’s good for off road/trails.
I absolutely love your review. Thank you.
Thanks glad this helped
I just purchased the Thule Charriot Sport 2. We will be going to Disneyland and Im planning to take it with me. I got the idea that my pregnant daughter in law could sit and rest in it. As I noticed you were sitting in it throughout your video. What do yo think is it ok as long as we aren’t pushing it around? Just to rest?@@thebetterbuy
@@doriezitro8556Disney will be fun! I was sitting on the metal bar that runs acrid underneath the stroller for some of the video. Just make sure you check the weight and adjust the suspension sliders. I don’t know how comfortable it will be because you can’t lean back, but it’s worth a try. Let me know how it goes.
Hey - thanks for the tip on adjusting the straightness of the running wheel. I was having trouble and figuring out how to get it straight on a run.
No problem. Literally had to do this myself on a run yesterday.
Thanks for a great review. What are your experiences with running and biking with in infant (7 weeks) in it?
Hi, thanks for your informative video. For months I’ve been tossing up between the Thule Chariot Sport and the Thule Chariot Cross double pram for running. Could you please tell me what age your baby was when you took it out of the infant sling? My youngest is about 10 months and I’m wondering if the infant sling is worth it at this age. Many thanks, Emma
We have a just under 9 month old and no longer use the infant sling. Glad this helped. I wouldn’t get the infant sling unless you are gonna have another kid.
Thank's for the review. Do you miss the brake system that has the thule sport or it's no needed to stop the trolley in case of emergency?
I have never had that problem. The foot brake is more than easy enough to use and I can slow the stroller down easily on my own. Even at a good pace.
@@thebetterbuyis the region were you live mountainous? I guess the brake system is a game changer when you go downhill a lot.
@@boonsterboom3470 there are no mountains. I live in Florida, by the beach. It’s flat. Very flat. I went to college in the mountains of North Carolina though so I do appreciate the question. Might be worth it in that situation.
Awesome review! I’d also like to know what you think about the bassinet on Urban Glide 2/3 model and the Glide comparing to this one. I’m hoping to run with my 20lbs Shetland sheepdog and maybe taking him on a race.
That set up is not made for running, so someone would have to test it out. I just don’t know how much vibration it could take.
Thank you!!!
Hi I'm wondering why you didn't just get the thule glide double?
@@hellapellanyc6465 I attach this to my bike. :) can’t do that with the glide.
I can see the suspension is also good, if not, excellent.
It is an absolutely incredible stroller
