I honestly think this dentist saved her life, she looked like she was going to fall apart, like depression was going to swallow her whole, her gave her, her life back, and it shows!
You just made a 61 year old man cry! I found this video by chance and was interested because for 20 years I was a dental technician, I did many full arch restorations for family and friends. These loved ones could not afford the lab bill much less the price of the dentist. Fortunately I had some very close friends that were dentists that were willing to take the difference between insurance and out of pocket expense in trade for lab work. The joy was all mine to see their smiles restored and the confidence they had with it. Thank you for what you have done!

It reminded me of a child who was looking to be consoled by someone after experiencing some type of pain....the way she runs up to to him, wraps her arms around his neck, and clutches him with her entire body. It was emotional to watch to say the least, still tearing up from watching that.

Yeah government clinics pull teeth like crazy. One dentist in virgina pulled thousands of childrens teeth many times without numbing. He ended up on the news after he pulled all of a childs teeth without reason plus without numbing again and didnt get parental permission. Kid just went in screaming parents thought it was normal till he came out wiht no teeth and they freaked the fuck out! Think his license was taken away hopefully.

Im a dental student (not in america) and i agree. The dentists in small government clinics here always do extractions bcs saving it (root canal treatment) could cost >10x more than just pulling them out. But the patients need to know what are the available options and the full treatment plan
Chances are that there was bad communication between that dentist and the patient. Any crooked dentist would opt to do root canals and crowns as opposed to extractions and dentures because of the increased payout. Extractions plus dentures will always be a fraction of the cost.
I would gladly donate to any GoFundMe account to sue the F out of this "doctor" & everyone involved in her mutilation. I'm positive the bastards sent her a bill also.

She really was NOT ugly before to me, so those teeth made her look incredibly gorgeous. I'm just glad she's got a smile that she wants again. Hell yeah.

@It’s blitz you kind of missed the point. I bet a therapist wouldn't get that kind of reaction from her. A therapist gets paid per visit, so they'll have you coming back over and over again. This man gave her her smile back. Smiling alone can change a person's mood and seeing her smile again made me happy.
This is wonderful. Currently dealing with dental issues that normal dentist offices do not want to work on. I miss smiling with my teeth so much. it really does something to your mental health when you're too self conscious to smile. Wishing this lady and the dentist all the best. I can't wait to have a smile on my face and some type of relief myself.

Yup. I hate to admit this but I struggled my entire youth with severe anxiety and developed ptsd from having not great teeth. For me it wasn't trying to look good or better. But you can see people staring at your teeth while you talk. You know how hard it is for a young 15 yr old boy to accept the fact that a girl likes him from afar. Walks up to him. And literally changes her whole entire vibe. When she sees you smile or act shy because you dont want to smile. Or even worse she starts going out with your best friend.. and the only differen he got is a nice smile? It's devastating. Really broke my confidence. Thats just one example same thing thing job interviews or just every social interactions. Took me till I was 21 until I could save up money and afford those ridiculous godam prices for fake veneers. And this was back in 2011. Damn shame

I first saw the clip of her hugging on the dentist on TikTok and because they didn’t know the full situation, they all bashed her for making the dentist uncomfortable by sitting in his lap. It was obviously an overwhelming situation, anyone in her situation would’ve done the same. The dentist did an amazing job!

A spirit of anguish, defeat and hopelessness could so easily have sent her right over the edge and her malnourishment also a concern. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with that. I hope you have implants or dentures or something now. A friend of mine chose to have his teeth extracted due to them just being so bad off. Now he has dentures and his skin is clearer, he feels healthier. In his case, having his teeth removed was an improvement in his quality of life. That's not usually the case.
I'm in that siyuation right now but don't qualify for any dental insurance. I stay at home as much as possible and that much-hated mask really helps in stores. I'm in my 60s so it's not as dire for me as it was for that beautiful young woman.
you dont know what happened at the other dentist. meth can ruin ALL your teeth and sometimes extracting them makes the most sense. When you make an "immediate" denture to replace all her teeth it can take well over a year to make the final set (that look exactly yhte same as the final ones here for they are the same (yet the "all on 4s are screwed into those implants). there is a good chance she never had her final set made.
i wish i could help her sue that previous dentist for every penny, i work for a dental clinic, we work hard to explain and educate people how important it is that we try to save their teeth and pulling is the last and final resort if needed, and to always have a backup plan - what to do after it's been pulled, etc. always need to sign consent forms for these kinds of things, and everything should have been explained to the patient and understood.
For him its just another day at work yk. We should always respect our docs but be cautious when smth sounds absurd since it was docs who pulled her teeth too.

Most of them are broken to the gum now, but I don't have insurance and every dentist in my area wants $25k up front to do anything...I have 4 kids at home, so that's not a feasible task. 😭 So I can't eat anything crunchy....I got an egg mcmuffin a while back and it broke 2 teeth just where the bun was toasted.
I swore I wasn't going to cry, then she looked at herself in the mirror and I lost it, glad she got her life back. Because that's exactly what she lost.

This dentist is an angel. He listened to her with compassion. Then he gave her the right size teeth for her face. Bet he was angry at the previous dentist, how many lives the other dentist destroyed. So happy this woman didn't give up. WONDERFUL.
There have been MANY dentists get caught preforming unnecessary procedures.. Especially on kids. They know kids don’t know any better and wouldn’t let parents go back with them. Sadistic pieces of shit. I’d imagine the previous dentist saw this woman as just some junkie and decided to milk her Medicare insurance for all they could.

People who have never had bad teeth, will never know the anxiety, stress, and self esteem issues that others with poor teeth will/can suffer from. I cried when she cried. I too, had very poor teeth, and took even worse care of mine. I did have all of my upper teeth pulled, and a full upper denture done, and a partial lower denture done as well. I know exactly the feeling she had, when she smiled. The rush of emotions flowing, and the indescribable weight lifted off of ones shoulders the first time you see your own new smile, Is overwhelming.

A dentist was a blessing to me too. I wasn’t blessed with good teeth and got many root canals in my 20’s and from then on had to get a few pulled. The root canals were failing and the caps were falling off. I had teeth missing and never could smile. My teeth were separating because of missing teeth. I was so miserable and couldn’t afford the work. A dentist blessed me and I am forever grateful. Thank you for doing this for her. I know how that feels ❤️
Genetics play a huge role in dental health. You could do everything right and still lose teeth :( It sucks. I’m glad you got help. If only I could find a dentist to help me replace my molars. Dental care is expensive as all hell. It cost me $300 to have one tooth pulled, That’s with insurance too. Absolutely ridiculous

I was just taken by a dishonest dentist who told me he would pull the rest of my teeth and do the dentures for 5000. Now after all the teeth are out he claims the price didn’t include the dentures. @Ivo yep that's correct, I once lost a family member. He got sick, and needed an operation; he had insurance, but they said we don't cover his sickness, the family all pitched in, but it was too late. I live in Europe now and wouldn't think of going back, not even to visit.

I can totally relate to this I had a totally crap dentist that did same thing removed perfectly good teeth and iv been without permanent teeth for many years iv finally quit worrying about it because of my age I'm 77 this month it has affected my overall health ever since God bless this dentist I wish I could get implants but I got no chance I had so much gum removed I was told by Illinois dental college near st Louis Missouri that just to rebuild the gum structure would cost many thousand of dollars bso I find gave up trying but I'm so very happy for this lovely lady God bless her and the dentist

And oftentimes the patients are too broken, naive, unsure, or just desperate that they don't get a second, third, or fourth opinion. I'm so glad this dentist got to help and bless this woman. Yea I've learned the hard way to educate myself on issues before going to so called professionals, I thought a dentist would only take a tooth as last resort, seems that's not true anymore!!!! I only went to get my fillings redone, fell out that week she told me teeth were rotton and had to come out, I'm gutted as was already self conscious about my looks and she knew this too. . This happened to me also all of my back teeth and all of my top row and I couldn't leave the house either but I finally found a dentist that is now helping me after one year of battling with insurance and getting approval because I have sjrogens syndrome they pulled them but they didn't have to!!

Yeah government clinics pull teeth like crazy. One dentist in virgina pulled thousands of childrens teeth many times without numbing. He ended up on the news after he pulled all of a childs teeth without reason plus without numbing again and didnt get parental permission. Kid just went in screaming parents thought it was normal till he came out wiht no teeth and they freaked the fuck out! Think his license was taken away hopefully.

Im a dental student (not in america) and i agree. The dentists in small government clinics here always do extractions bcs saving it (root canal treatment) could cost >10x more than just pulling them out. But the patients need to know what are the available options and the full treatment plan

Chances are that there was bad communication between that dentist and the patient. Any crooked dentist would opt to do root canals and crowns as opposed to extractions and dentures because of the increased payout. Extractions plus dentures will always be a fraction of the cost.
I would gladly donate to any GoFundMe account to sue the F out of this "doctor" & everyone involved in her mutilation. I'm positive the bastards sent her a bill also.

I miss smiling with my teeth so much. it really does something to your mental health when you're too self conscious to smile. Wishing this lady and the dentist all the best. Yup. I hate to admit this but I struggled my entire youth with severe anxiety and developed ptsd from having not great teeth. For me it wasn't trying to look good or better. But you can see people staring at your teeth while you talk. You know how hard it is for a young 15 yr old boy to accept the fact that a girl likes him from afar. Walks up to him. And literally changes her whole entire vibe. When she sees you smile or act shy because you dont want to smile. Or even worse she starts going out with your best friend.. and the only differen he got is a nice smile? It's devastating. Really broke my confidence. Thats just one example same thing thing job interviews or just every social interactions. Took me till I was 21 until I could save up money and afford those ridiculous godam prices for fake veneers. And this was back in 2011. Damn shame

A spirit of anguish, defeat and hopelessness could so easily have sent her right over the edge and her malnourishment also a concern. The stress she carried in her body causes adrenal fatigue and exhaustion. No doubt in my mind that this was a divine appointment. That woman has the heart that God can use for His purposes...she is a gentle, feeling woman who has a future for His Glory!!!

If you want to blame anyone, don't blame the dentist, blame our judicial system that is soft on crime and lets drug dealers and users loose with not even a slap on the wrist. This would have never happened in Singapore where they have mandatory death penalty for drug dealers, as when she was in a dark place she wouldn't have drugs pushed on her as it just doesn't even exist in circulation. A friend of mine chose to have his teeth extracted due to them just being so bad off.
Now he has dentures and his skin is clearer, he feels healthier. In his case, having his teeth removed was an improvement in his quality of life.
That's not usually the case.
My mom had to go through the same thing. That's why I was curious about how he did stabilized (implant supported dentures) with so little bone.

I'm in that siyuation right now but don't qualify for any dental insurance. I stay at home as much as possible and that much-hated mask really helps in stores. I'm in my 60s so it's not as dire for me as it was for that beautiful young woman.

you dont know what happened at the other dentist. meth can ruin ALL your teeth and sometimes extracting them makes the most sense. When you make an "immediate" denture to replace all her teeth it can take well over a year to make the final set (that look exactly yhte same as the final ones here for they are the same (yet the "all on 4s are screwed into those implants). there is a good chance she never had her final set made.

i wish i could help her sue that previous dentist for every penny, i work for a dental clinic, we work hard to explain and educate people how important it is that we try to save their teeth and pulling is the last and final resort if needed, and to always have a backup plan - what to do after it's been pulled, etc. always need to sign consent forms for these kinds of things, and everything should have been explained to the patient and understood.

I too, had very poor teeth, and took even worse care of mine. I did have all of my upper teeth pulled, and a full upper denture done, and a partial lower denture done as well.
I know exactly the feeling she had, when she smiled. The rush of emotions flowing, and the indescribable weight lifted off of ones shoulders the first time you see your own new smile, Is overwhelming.

A dentist was a blessing to me too. I wasn’t blessed with good teeth and got many root canals in my 20’s and from then on had to get a few pulled. The root canals were failing and the caps were falling off. I had teeth missing and never could smile. My teeth were separating because of missing teeth. I was so miserable and couldn’t afford the work. A dentist blessed me and I am forever grateful. Thank you for doing this for her. I know how that feels ❤️
Genetics play a huge role in dental health. You could do everything right and still lose teeth :( It sucks. I’m glad you got help. If only I could find a dentist to help me replace my molars. I was just taken by a dishonest dentist who told me he would pull the rest of my teeth and do the dentures for 5000. Now after all the teeth are out he claims the price didn’t include the dentures. I’m broke and am having a very hard time trying to find any kind of grants or something. How did you come to get help like this? I need help. I’m a hospice aide and I feel so unprofessional plus I’m so embarrassed. I can’t eat it’s just a nightmare I can’t seem to get out of. Do u have any info to help me?

@@bored8715 YOU have an excellent concept of the obvious. Lots of excuses are used to try and validate an extreme drug problem. Drug treatment centers don't give credit and validation using typical excuses. Excuses can be used to justify a dangerous habit.
The icing on the cake was seeing the baby run to her. 😢 This all is so beautiful. Let's all appreciate what we do have, and not worry about what we don't have. Someone out there needs what you have, and will never see it. So be grateful beautiful people.

@Ivo yep that's correct, I once lost a family member. He got sick, and needed an operation; he had insurance, but they said we don't cover his sickness, the family all pitched in, but it was too late. I live in Europe now and wouldn't think of going back, not even to visit.

I can totally relate to this I had a totally crap dentist that did same thing removed perfectly good teeth and iv been without permanent teeth for many years iv finally quit worrying about it because of my age I'm 77 this month it has affected my overall health ever since God bless this dentist I wish I could get implants but I got no chance I had so much gum removed I was told by Illinois dental college near st Louis Missouri that just to rebuild the gum structure would cost many thousand of dollars bso I find gave up trying but I'm so very happy for this lovely lady God bless her and the dentist

I know!! 😭💔 I've heard of this happening to other people too. It's horrible. And oftentimes the patients are too broken, naive, unsure, or just desperate that they don't get a second, third, or fourth opinion. I'm so glad this dentist got to help and bless this woman. I wish there was a way to have that other dentist pay her for physical damage.

Yea I've learned the hard way to educate myself on issues before going to so called professionals, I thought a dentist would only take a tooth as last resort, seems that's not true anymore!!!! I only went to get my fillings redone, fell out that week she told me teeth were rotton and had to come out, I'm gutted as was already self conscious about my looks and she knew this too. . I want justice but have no idea how to do this being formally uneducated so won't get anywhere with that which although I won't do makes one feel like the only real justice that could ever be gained would be resoting to eye for an eye or tooth for a tooth justice!!! 🤣😂😁
This happened to me also all of my back teeth and all of my top row and I couldn't leave the house either but I finally found a dentist that is now helping me after one year of battling with insurance and getting approval because I have sjrogens syndrome they pulled them but they didn't have to!!
