- It was 16 years ago on January 22, 2006, that Kobe Bryant put together a masterpiece of a game. The late Los Angeles Lakers legend scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors. The purpose of this movie is to celebrate one of the greatest moments is NBA history. Bryant scored 55 of his 81 points in the second half!!! Just think about it for a second. Kobe single-handedly brought his team back from a 20 point deficit to win the game. This game is the definition of being in the zone.
Fun fact - Kobe’s grandma only came to see Kobe play once in he’s career. That one time is when Kobe scored 81 points.
