When I was a kid my parents had one of their friends babysit me. Every time Tom came over we played this game. We got so close to finishing it but never could. He passed away three years ago but I still have the game. Miss you Tom.
Loved this game in the arcade! All the secret easter eggs and button inputs that do crazy things. Played it on PS as well and unlocked all the hidden characters. So much better without your health constantly going down.
That makes sense, Most arcade games had anti-stalling such as having an timer that instantly kills the player if it reaches zero, in some beat-them-ups such as Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time the timer can't be seen.

(Similar stats would be given to the Dwarf, Knight, Sorceress, and Jester in Dark Legacy)
I can understand you doing it for EXP., but JESUS CHRIST use the fucking turbo more often will ya? That part in the third level of the mountain kingdom was especially atrocious!

I dont get why the n64 and ps1 ports swapped out the jungle and the desert for the province and Ice mountain

I love Gauntlet Legends on the PSX. But the arcade is on Atari Games in 1998 was so dope

Fun but hard game. Dark legacy was my preferred game for the PS2
