@@nohedidnt9402 Her entire platform is to treat and respect everyone equally. Your argument would be akin to telling a parent that they hate their own children just because they claim to love their children equally instead of being pro/anti one child over another. As she stated before, the idea of race being anything other than the human race cropped up among caucasians has been used effectively to put a wedge between groups as you have so aptly demonstrated.

Also the book "sapiens" explains how the human race began , it's a great book that i believe everyone should read .
Now that they have tracked the entire human genome, one of the things that they discovered was that all humans on the planet today can be traced genetically back to one female from sub-Saharan Africa thousands and thousands of years ago and thus, although very distant, we are all cousins today.
I forgot to add that in the scientific community she is known as Genetic Eve.

She’s great 👍🏼 a force to be reckoned with. I’ve been following her work for over 25 years. I love Jane Elliot, she’s an Anti-Racism Activist, and a very, very prominent educator. She’s 85 and still going strong. Let’s cherish her while we still have her!

She is absolutly right about the education system. My brown daughter (4.0 gpa) for her Sr. history progject she did a presentation on Japanese inturnment camps of WW2. Her white teacher failed her and told the class it wasn't true because she could not point to any reference in the class history book and refused to display her project with the others. I was livid at the ignorance. She had borrowed actual photos and news papers from a family friend whose family now owned the land of one of the camps in the city we were living. Long story short I made sure my daughters work was displayed with all local historical reference. The black principal corrected her grade. This was very stressful for my 17 yrs old; that white teacher taught her alot about racism when he accused her of 'spinning propaganda' against all americans in front of the whole class. Still boils my blood
I am curious to know where that school is. I learned about the Japanese relocation camps in highschool. And that was over 35 years ago. And yes, the teacher was Caucasian.

Miss Jane Elliott, you are one of those people that i would love to meet in person.
I had a conversation with a friend the other day about "going against the grain". Ms Elliot (along with some others) is an example of "going against the grain".
what do I mean by this? well anytime you try to educate people to think and behave differently than what society teaches them and then have to deal with the threat of death against you is what I am referring to.
I often look at myself and wonder why can't I be more courageous and be more of a difference maker for the cause of good. there are far too little people like this woman and others that are trying to make their voices heard for the cause of humanity.
It is far too easy and safe to just go along with the status quo. As a result we make it easy for the powers that be to steer us in the direction they want us to go. cudos and abundant blessing to those who have the courage to go against the grain in this day and age...... hopefully more of us will be independent thinkers and activists instead of sheep with the wrong shepherd....
