What is very unique about this video is that these gentlemen are traveling through the Sahara Desert, enjoying life and meeting others that need help. Way too much pressure in the tires in sand and mud. But thats my dream when I will retire from work. Buy a mog, make a camper, and off we go :))

Hammer! Schönes / beneidenswertes Erlebnis und die Aktion mit dem Abschleppen :-))) Habt Ihr die Fähre Genua-Tunis genommen? Ich war 2013 mit meinem umgebauten Tuareg in TN. Kenne noch viele traumhafte Orte in Norden Tunesiens wo kein Mensch hinkommt (Berge, Strand und Meer). Bin ja selbst Tunesier ;) aber mit dem Unimog würde es bestimmt 3x soviel Spass machen!!! Könnt Ihr Euch ja melden wenn Ihr gerne mit weiteren Fahrzeugen wieder mal runter wollt ;)

The sherp can go off road, the unimog can go off road with a house on its back.

Unter Einstellungen (Unterhalb vom Video) kannst du die Qualität einstellen.
Wenn du auf 144 hast, dann ist es auch nur entsprechend schlechte Qualität.
Kann aber auch sein, dass bei euch nicht mehr übertragen wird.

Spritverbrauch 200 Liter pro 100 km?
Mit 200 Liter komme ich auf der Straße 1000 km und im schweren Gelände 600.
Verbrauch Straße 20 und im Absolut schwerem Gelände an die 40 Liter.

Gude, wie heißt die Lackierung die ihr bei dem Unimog verwendet habt ?
Das ist Wehrmachtbeige von der ehemaligen WH. Wurde dort für alle Fahrzeuge von 1942 bis 1945 verwendet. Produzieren wir her für Oldtimer Fahrzeuge.

This is not Sahara, if it entered to Libya Sahara it couldn't get out of it , there is great sand sea it's impossible to cross it, maybe you need helicopter to pick up your truck, only camels cross that area...! But Really I like a Unimog truck it’s strong truck.

u can buy them in germany, there is a couple of sellers who buy from the german army
impressive vehicle but for my needs it would be too much. a sprinter 4x4 with the right tires is just fine.
You will be very disappointed if you attempted this in a sprinter 4x4. Unibody = poor articulation = getting stuck all the time.
There has to be another use for the Sahara, like maybe use it for farming for food crops like Israel does with the desert lands they have. No offence meant to the drivers.
