So basically I need a degree in rocket science and friends to just get the true ending? Well one of those two is at least possible.
Just join a white house overkill lobby. Most of them are doing the secret and most of the time someone knows how to do the riddles.

So, a gang of robbers entered the white house for a super important operation, found a glowing painting, moved it so that they could break a wall where there was a elevator that took them to a door that opened after some riddles only for robbing a Mayan temple?

Not even that hard, I think.
Just need to do 57 achievements (and since me and my friends are achievement whores, it won't be a big deal). Then just read a final word in the riddle and set the needed runes.

other than frankly having better things to do than long complicated eastereggs that require out of game info and involve steps that are unique to each player, I dont have 4 people to do it (only have one friend who plays it, of which i know personally, and inst very good, as he calls me insane for playing above overkill difficulty), and not about to waste my time with randies. I also absolutely despise this heist for making me waste an hour and a half of my life trying to complete it loud on DW, an hour of which was likely spent just trying to get the vault open and retrieve the loot. in the end i died because I had used my last med bag in the bunker and went black n white trying to reset the aa battery, and got cock blocked by shields trying to run thru the garden to the medbags in the thermite room and the room adjacent ot the oval office, and downed by a combination the turret and skull dozers
The wheelchair should have been a weapon. Stuns all enemies in a 10km radius for 50 minutes

You don't get the box from the Golden Grin Casino but you do have to complete the mission. Let me explain- If you're wondering why the box doesn't show up in your safehouse after the casino heist don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong. It's just that you gave the box to The Dentist after that heist, which means he can store it at Henry's Rock for you to take there. That's right- you loot two boxes from Henry's Rock and that's when they show up in your Safehouse.

i personally highly recommend someone bring 4-6 turrets for the defense and 1 person with ammo bags turrets with ap make killing the cloakers stupidly easy (this is how i prefer lobby equipment: medic bag,ammo,sentry 4th person can bring whatever they want unless its a bot then they have no equipment).
You could get the jack of all trades perk and bring ammo and meds

Not sure if anyone thought of this... But the talent which allows you to counterattack rushing cloakers by charging your melee weapon makes you nearly invulnerable vs the shadow cloakers.
It's kinda fun seeing 7 cloakers try to bumrush you only to keep getting knocked down. They can still shoot you so be careful of that.

The counter does not actually do any damage, also jrio does not register them as cloakers
Secret requires 4 people? Guess I'm shit outta luck since I'm scared of pub play and I can barely convince one friend of mine to play this game anymore.

It only requires 2 people with the achievements, and you can stealth it up to the PEOC. You can have 2 people with the achievement, 2 without. Just have the 2 people without them leave and reconnect

@@lucariolps277 no just a lot of dedicated people working together, apperently people who posted datamined info had their posts removed from the reddit and were banned
It takes a lot of research, cooperation with others, decent translation skills and the same amount of dedication that went into finding out about the Overdrill secret from PDTH, as that's how they slowly pieced it together.
I'd recommend looking at Random Kenny's videos to see the events leading up to the secret, as he provides analysis videos on the obsidian plate and the various clues given in the dialogue and the heists, that and he was the first person to figure it all out.
Cheating deta miners.
You don't have to do it loud. In fact, doing it via stealth can save you ten minutes and lets you bring weapons more tailored to the final gauntlet. In my group, myself and one other guy managed to make crit builds that still hit 3 concealment, and stealthed our way through to the PEOC entrance. The other 2, with 75 concealment builds, just sat outside and waited. We then let it go loud just before we jumped in, and it worked just fine.
If you think a stealth crit build is "more tailored" to it, you've got something wrong.
This is reminds me of Phantom Program and Dragon Valley riddles in Battlefield 4

Me and my boyfriend spent 4 1/2 hrs translating these codes last night for us two and another member of our group and I was able to get the translations down without even looking at the cheat sheet, and he basically told me when we get to this point I'll be the one doing the door thing because I'm the only one who could comprehend the symbols lol

for those of you trying to decrypt the achievements, remember to read your decrypted letters in reverse (right to left), that tripped me up for a while. Also, to unlock the medallion, you need to get the "The Medallion Of Perseids" trophy by beating brooklyn bank on overkill.
I like the secret ending WAY better! Makes more sense for the gang. Sad to see Bain go, But John DeLance playing the president was a nice treat!

What happens if you do what the dentist says
loch goes for the dentists gun gets shot by the dentist then kills bain or he just shoots them both
If you don't let the dentist into the arc he kills bain and locke
And if you let him into the arc without shooting him locke will attempt to shoot the dentist and miss his shot resulting in the dentist killing locke both "bad" endings result in a mission failed screen instantly.

There is a mod that allow you to do the secret solo with bots, better bots mod is also reccemanded to keep the shadow cloakers at bay.

One suggestion: one dedicated melee member with katana and melee skills, maybe even sociopath deck would be useful for getting those cloakers

good guide... but you can do this without 4 Players, use 3 Bots and the Mod "Better Bots". I have done it on Overkill allone with Bots.

you can but you need to have someone else to host those heist for you to get it as well.
If this secret even does come to console, Im gonna have a bad time.

Do the cloakers eat up arrows when they die? Because if not then a bow would probably be the best weapon to bring
They dont consume arrows but its actually pretty hard to hit them with it. AP Sentrys and ammo bags are the best option imo.

I'll be honest, while everything is pretty tricky to find out, I would have never, EVER found out that piano code by myself. Seriously, Overkill, wtf? It's Milon's Secret Castle bullshit all over again (although, that "solving riddles crap" isn't better).
We can't do this on console. Not only are we lacking dlc but we don't have much of a safehouse. Its the basic launch safehouse
