Spider Fighter was highly regarded among the fifth graders on the playground. I was playing Laser Blast personally and did not get to play it for a couple years. It definitely lived up to the hype.
I imagine i would have been talked about on the playground at school. I found it to be a very intense game it's a shame I never played it until this video
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I had a bunch of these games growing up. I had to give up my Atari 2600 to help my family. Awesome video keep up the great work.
Thank you! I am glad to have sent you on path of fond memories. I was glad to also have a chance to play all these game everyone was suggesting in the comments. Many of them I'd never even played before. So it was quite the treat to discover their brillance for the first time.
This list represents some of the best of what Atari had to offer, with a couple of notable exceptions (River Raid and Pitfall! spring to mind immediately), but that said, I don't know what I would take out-Turmoil in particular is a fantastic game that never got enough attention back in the day. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the comment! A while back I did an off the cuff top 10 video of Atari games that I owned and not a review of the top 10 best Atari Games. It took off and I got an amazing amount of comments of everyone telling me what their favorites were So I have been doing a video series about the many games people recommended. My favorite 10 I owned was Frogs and Flies, Atlantis, Frogger, Maze Craze, Pitfall!, Adventure, Combat, E.T., Raiders of the lost ark, and River Raid I just released the 2nd Volume yesterday I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you will enjoy my others as well
Frogs and Flies and River Raid are in my top 10 Atari games I owned ruclips.net/video/vKYJJmwBCbc/видео.html Jungle Hunt and Berzerk I just reviewed in Volume 3 ruclips.net/video/zLSC09neav0/видео.html I havent had the honor of playing Fishing Derby yet I will check it out
I was wondering when someone was going to mention that, KUDOS! :) I made a pretty huge list from everyones comments about their favorite Atari games and I put the list in a randomizer and the first volume was definitely laden with Activision games The other volumes have many Activison games as well Probably because they made for the most part extremely fun and memorable games!
Pitfall and River Raid are in my personal top 10 atari games that I owned video ruclips.net/video/vKYJJmwBCbc/видео.html I covered Enduro in Volume 2 ruclips.net/video/LuFPg1-G3uk/видео.html All of these are great games

It's crazy how many of the multi-player games still hold up and are pick and play ready for fun.
It goes to show it's not always about the looks but the game play

Notice that 5 of the 10 games featured in this video were released by Activision.
