    When i was a child, my friends and i would run up and down the butte, laughing and being loud. I am pretty sure many assumed we were ghosts or spirits, but it was just us kids being kids. and yes we would be running around the mountain late into the night, LOL we knew people were praying, but that wasn't our responsibility for them to lose focus of their prayer. lol

    I thought it was the bears body that scratched up devils tower after being shot by arrows or exhaustion.... took a few steps before falling in North Dakota... I don’t know either

    This is a good story, but its not the real story. I know because my uncles are the twins of Bear Butte, they have told me the story before. They're names are Todd and Justin

      All this "you're wrong we're right" bullcrap is something Catholic people taught us. So congratulations. Different families have different connections & interpretations. Humble yourself and respect
