    It's not only a matter of consecutive golds, but how. Also some sports and geopolitics along the years made the threepeat and fourpeat literally impossible in some cases.

    She'll win it again tomorrow. Home Olympics after that, where at 31 she will still be capable. Yeh I think she 5 peats the 800m, probably also 3 peats the 1500m. No chance of 6 peating though

      Well team sports is hard to measure one person. And the pinnacle of individual sports is the Olympics. It makes sense that the one that wins the most years is the most dominant.

    According to Chat GPT there are more super athletes than you mention including a 5-time winner (Stephen Redgrave) and a 6-time winner(Birgit Fischer) and there are 9 4-time winners.
