Thats a great story dude, and the knife looks awesome. Wish you couldve showed it off a bit more, but the handle color (light gold? bronze?) with the stonewashed polished blade is beautiful. I have a rask and own the Rosie, mini arius, brown, etc and theres something about the lines, precision and feel of a Rask that makes it one of my favorite knives in the collection.
Ya I feel pretty good about it now. The prices are starting to come down on them in the groups. One guy was selling a user for 600. It makes a nice edc knife.
Honestly believe that the right ones seems to find their way to you. I know that one will hold a place in your collection for ever and definitely appears worth bustn up a 40 day challenge. I totally forgot I was going to try that again with ya. But ya already know how that worked out for me.
I have buyers remorse from all the money I wasted on these high end pocket jewelry knives. Im happy with a spyderco for less than $200. No more high end crap .....
