Awesome video Gasper that looked like one fine crop of grass off the field you reseeded was it heavier than the first cut It must be so good to have a second cut done so early in the year First cut is only start here in the last couple of weeks everything is late because we had so much rain Always a joy to watch looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Thank you 🙂 yes a little higher yield than 1st cut. At least you can get in the fields now, hopefully you'll get a nice summer and fall 🤞 thanks again! 🙂
Might be expensive but you could propably get an Insta 360 Camera and mount it to the outside of the tractor for more different camera shots. it proly wouldnt fit to the Chanel name "Farmers POV" tho since it is a different angle at that point.
What a beautiful farm, in a beautiful area with beautiful cows and grass, well done. This farm feels so cohesive with the land it’s built on. How long has it been here?

Nice video, I like your farm and the way you run it! What is the reason you use two different tractors for dividing and packing? Can’t you just attach the divider to the John Deere? Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thank you 🙂 there is a wall on one end of the silo and if I put the roller on the back of the JD I can't compact all the way to the wall until its full enough. In this instance I could use the JD but the roller was already on the Fiat. I would need front hydraulic on JD.
@@farmerspov4709 Aha, you want to back up to the wall for maximum compaction. That would be possible if you mounted the roller in front of the tractor. But since you don’t have front linkage/hydraulics and do have the 4th tractor this is the way to go at the moment. I get that; makes sense.

Serious work lad, love watching the vids especially while in Copper Face Jacks. Just wondering if you’ve named any of the cows, my mate smidger loved your videos but he’s been a bit sick lately he’d love if you named one of the cows after him. Greetings from Carrick🫡
I love how simplified everything is on your farm.
Silo is full again👍💪! And right finished, when the rain came, lol 👀😁👍! Great job! Greetings from Bavaria!
Yes sir 😁 thank you 🙂
deamnnn that grass looks good :D
Well done 👏 very satisfying having all your own equipment and not having to pay others to help
Well done getting it before rain 👍👍
That looked a good crop 👍 and you finished just in time 😁👌

Thank you, for very nice video.
Great video, thanks!
Once again a lovely Video on your channel!

Хорошая трава,отличная работа,👍
Looks like a very nice crop. Ours definetly won't be so good, it has been too dry. Other crops are suffering too.
Too dry, thats surprising 🤔
@@farmerspov4709 yeah we've only had 8mm of rain in May and record amount of hot days.

Great video, any idea how the yields were on this second cut compared to the first?
A little higher this round.

Thanks 🙂 around 7200 l.
Excuse me, could you please tell me what kind of grass this is?
Its a mixture of perennial ryegrass, meadow fescue, orchard grass and some others.

Witam, w tym sezonie 6 cięć będziesz miał. Ile dajesz nawozów mineralnych NPK na hektar rocznie na łąki, kukurydzę?
Maybe 😁 well we use 1375 kg NPK and around 5 tons of KAN (CAN) a year on 22 hectares.

Hello from British Columbia, Canada! Just curious, why do you tedder the grass before gathering it? wouldn't wetter be better?
It has to dry a little for optimal fermenting, too wet can cause spoilage and water running from the silo. Greetings to Canada 👋

Cünkü jd daha ağır olduğu için slajı bastırıyor

After you run the dryer on the grass, how long do they let it dry and then pick it up with the trailer?
Depends on the weather. After the second pass with the tedder we let it dry for just a couple of hours, but we were in a hurry.

Well this is for silage, hay needs more drying time, usually at least one day.
