Master and Margarita is so good
I've read Crime and Punishment, Notes from Underground, The Idiot, and am now reading War and Peace. My goal is to continue reading the most well-known and influential books of russian literature and work from there!)
I'm now reading and finishing the books and works of J.R.R Tolkien, I'm really engaging with his world. And I've bought some classic russians, The brothers Karamazov and Anna Karenina, in english, because my native language is Spanish (I'm from Colombia 🇨🇴). My classic authors would be Gabriel García Marquez, but I haven't read any of his works, but I'm open to do so.
And thank you for your videos, I'm mainly getting interested in the Russian language but and also in it's culture.
Мастер и Маргарита, моя любимая книга!!!! Спасибо за этот очень интересный выпуск :)
lately I really like "1984"
Люблю наших людей ❤
Great episode, I liked it alot.
I usually read Stephen King books, but occasionally others. At the moment I am reading Goodbye Sarajevo by Atka Reid and Hanna Schofield, it is very good, you can empathise with the characters. I have read it before, but I am reading it again.
No, I don't red much, but I would like to read a lot more.
Мне очень понравилось это видео. Я изучаю русский язык и ваше видео мне полезно, чтобы улучшить мой уровень. Спасибо!
Интересно! 👍
Молодец 👍👍🇬🇷
Я люблю читать киги. Мне нравится реалистичные романы, поэзия и комиксы.
To the lady who likes fantasy novels about the dragons (and all the others with similar taste) I'd like to recommend Naomi Novik's books about adventures of the dragon called Temeraire. I also like fantasy. And science fiction. And everything that can take my mind away from this grim reality and emerge me into the the world of dreams and happiness... Thanks for the video!
I am Brazilian and I read Достоевский)
Just started learning Russian! Subscribed to the channel. What methods should I be using, I learned several romance and Germanic languages using mostly input and speaking practice, what is unique about Russian, that I as an English speaker should focus on?
Declesions
There are some common features in Slavic languages. Slavic languages don't have definite/indefinite articles but you can use demonstrative ones (this, that, these etc) or indefinite ones (one, some etc) when you need. Verbs can be perfect or imperfect and they are different. Russian language has 6 grammatical cases, that are similar to German 4. Basically, German is closest to Slavic languages in terms of grammar and even vocabulary, I mean, of all Germanic languages. Word order isn't strictly SVO thanks to grammatical case system, thus you always know where the subject is and where the object is.
If you have some knowledge in German or Latin it won't be a challenge.
And the Alphabet is the easiest part of learning Russian.
@@hamishdomergue8810 excellent! German is my strongest non-English language (fluent)
❤❤
0:39 the brother duolingo is always watching you.
Я обычно читаю детективы скандинавских авторов, почему -то они мне больше всего нравятся.
Jack London , since 1988 . 👍
Osudy dobrého Vojáka Švejka - Hašek - любимый писатель
👏 аплодирую славянским братьям, жаль только что сейчас вы против нас
Две книги на меня до сих пор повлияли больше всего. Это:
1. Анатолий Ильич Протопопов "Трактат о любви, как её понимает жуткий зануда.
2. Франсуа ле Бон "Психология масс".
TEMA MUITO FRACO,
Музыка Вагера так прекрасна и глубокомысленна, говорил эстет из зoндеркoманды, задумчиво глядя на трубы дымящего кремaтория.
Мне нравится "Иван-дурак" .
Поэтому, я понял, что жизнь интересна, даже если человек идиот.
Братья Карамазовы, Преступление и наказание Достоевского; Мастер и Маргарита Булгакова;
Морской волк Джека Лондона; 1984 Оруэлла
В рozzии сейчас актуальны на западном фронте без перемен ремарка, и 1984 оруэлла.
Frederik Forsyth is the best, the whole ukrainian sorry story was probably the plot of one of his books and crazy putin read ir and decided to implement it. A madman in search of an author. SPOILER ALERT 4 PUTIN: это закончится плохо
This is hilarius. Russian does not reading book like this anymore. Russians over 50 are watch tv. Under - use a lot of audioservices.
Reding - killing own eyes
Man, check up on your English. A little bit of reading won't kill you for sure 😂
