I just love this style that Taras and Improver are doing. I just want more!
Yessss same! wish I said more in the video, this style is very human and it realy connects with the people, way more than the super machine mode beatboxing that has been developing by almost the entire beatbox world, love this very much

@@KlownBeatbox Beatboxing has developed over so many years to this amazing complicated thing. The sounds and advanced stuff people can do, and the speeds and complex order they do things will never stop being mind-blowing.
We know that Improver and Taras can do high tier amazing things in the , do I dare say , normal beatboxing. But to see them create this whole genre of mainstream consumable, playlist worthy material is just a step to the side and up up away.
And I say this as someone that consider themselves a "normie", but love to lurk in the beatboxing circles on youtube.
(Ps: I got the feeling you were celebrating the similarities to Taras's video style, and not getting down on Improver for using the format.)
Improver did such an amazing job here with this song. By far my favorite cover of the many out there❤

I don't think it is bad at all, the opposite actualy, i love this but i didnt share this enough. i should have shared more of my mind, i believe this is a beautiful step in the right direction love the song, love the intention behind this as well, i'll try to be better in the future🫶
I'm glad Improver is using Taras formula, more musically talented beatboxers need to follow this formula, they could make some insane songs like this 😭

Interesting observations. Improver and Taras both seem to be fans of musical based beatboxing (thankfully) and Improver has other music videos where he sings and beatboxes. I really like this and those two are both a great collab and great solo artists. As for the AI look, took me a hot minute, but I think that is the colour choice of the video (if you look at any colour palette of lighting and their application they will accomplish different things, cool, warmth etc), I think it simply comes down to colour choice and a new haircut.
The song however, is pretty bloody awesome.
Be careful with assumptions. If Taras helped produce this video then Improver could be using Taras’s new equipment, which makes everything more crisp and clear. His Star Sky video isn’t much different from this one except he’s taking his BBX skills, especially the bass, to a down and dirty level, which he’s not doing as much here. Different mic as well.
Another thing is that Improver and Tara’s have been going to a voice coach (singing lessons) which Taras has mentioned in at least one of his live streams. Those coaching lessons are more than just about singing, but also learning how to get more bang for your buck vocally.
If you listen closely you can hear natural imperfections in his voice, which autotune would’ve completely obliterated. And even the most famous singers have had voice training, and that makes a huge difference.
Maybe give Improver the benefit of the doubt and take into consideration that those voice lessons have made a difference. Again, it’s all in the details… like those little imperfections in his singing/notes. 😊
I should have said my FULL thoughts, i was too black and white in the video, i do stand by this format, i love what he is doing and i have so much respect for improver, i believe everything improver does so far has been GREAT, he improves he tries new things, pushes the community. ALSO i am a big fan of this song, crafted beautifully. I cannot wait for future videos, this reaction video taught me a lot, and i will improve sharing my thoughts in the future🫶
If you are interested, there’s a channel called Taras Stanin Fans who takes clips from their live streams and uploads them to their channel, with Taras’s permission. One of the clips from their live stream the other day has Improver doing this song, just him singing during the live stream. Sounds just like this only without the nice mic, lighting etc. It’s really cool. You should check it out.

Yeah, there's very clear similarities to Taras videos, but Improver is amazing just being himself as well. There's no harm in trying something different than usual to see how it works out. This did seem very different for Improver, but i also think he did very well on it. ❤❤

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Besides, it would be disengenuous to say that the music industry doesn't work like this. One person does something that is successful and others try to replicate it. The taste comes in the differences that they introduce to make it their own, in this case the background is a bit different and the song is more bass driven than Taras' singular vocals. 🤷♂️

I found beatboxing through Taras but Improver is my favourite. He deserves the same level of popularity.

I was thinking about this last night after talking with those guys that were watching your stream with me. I showed them several videos after, ( including Riot and they were impressed!) and the point they made which I agree with is that Improver should just be himself in his videos. He is partnering with someone that is blowing up right now and there has to be a bit of pressure to perform in a similar fashion. I've watched them both on a live stream where Taras is getting money dumped on him and Improver is just sitting there...doing just as much beatboxing and being as personable as Taras, but NOBODY is ponying up any dough for him. Improver is really talented and has a different style than Taras and I feel he should really promote that nasty, gritty sound he has. You have a heavy sound that I love and that is why I'd rather hear you and Improver than Taras...but it's all personal preference.
It's not for me to give advice to them.
It’s probably more correct to collect money on general streams into one cash register and then divide it equally.

FYI, Imrpover and Taras are good friends, and were collabing all the time for serveral years. Made dozens vids together.
Together, they've qualified for GBB tag team this year. They're also members of the same band.
Improver is big asf on his own. Has more YT subs than Taras, and 1.5m+ IG followers. He's gettin' his own live gigs, and he's way more recognized among hardcore BBX community, than Taras. Qualified for GBB solo, 2 times, back to back. Placed top 8 last year.
And of course, donations on their duo stream are pretty even. So yeah, don't worry about him :^)
@@OnionAddiction I wish you could've been there with me and those 4 men as they studied beatboxers in general! I gave them a crash course 😁 I know Taras and Improver couldn't mesh like they do unless they have a strong connection and it shows in their videos. I'm a bit of an Improver fanboy plus I think trying to convey the positive vibes of 4 men over 70 years of age that are understanding beatboxing for the first time can screw with anyone's head! I'll try harder next time!

I do think that a big difference here is that he is not looking directly at the camera and it loses a human touch that Taras provides in his video. I could be completely wrong, but I think that could make a difference. Also, his voice just does not seem like it matches his face and how he looks but idk why!

Man, I really liked this cover but there seemed to be some dead space that maybe some hi hats would've filled and sounded more complete idk.
Also, he's got a really good voice but a strange choice of tone. Critiques aside, much love to Improver and I'm glad I came across your channel tonight.
