Thank you so much. I was able to check and verify power at the plug. So bought a new fuel pump module. Popped it in and started right up! Saved me a tow and a shop bill. Thanks again.

Very excellent work on this video. I’m very happy you shared it cause there’s not a lot of information on testing them.

I wish I had your skill of understanding the mysterious art of diagnosing issues with a multi-meter. You're brilliant. I will be paying $300 for this work at the Ford dealership later today. Seems a bit steep after watching this. You make it look easy but it's not. Great video.

It comes with time and practice a lot of newer cars i find myself having to check wiring and voltage to confirm issues can be time consuming for sure.

Awesome video! This was the fix for mine 2013 f150 with only 80k miles! Mine had the exact same symptoms as in this video. Went straight to the parts store and they had ot in stock. Took me about 20 minutes to change it out and it started right up! Way to go saving me tons of time and money! Thanks good Sir

This video is the only one on the entire internet that has helped me precisely with my situation. Literally, this morning I just bought a new fuel pump, and tomorrow I was going to install it. But after watching this video just now, I'm looking for this control module to replace it to see if it's the cause of the problem.
Thank You! Have Nice day. Greetings from Ags, México.

Great Video! I have a 2012 f350 dump truck and I think the fuel pump module went bad. I seen the code on my
Scan tool delete the code. mins later after doing that truck won’t start. Crank strong? Can I spray starting fluid into intake hose to see if it will fire up?

    • @ollieonwheels1

@@anthonyfisher4874 yes did crank strong and I sprayed starting fluid during my initial diag and it fired up then started making my way to check the pump and the relay.

@@ollieonwheels1 I sprayed starting fluid earlier and did crank but shut off. I did have a bad battery and I got a u0100 for lost communication with ecm. I’m wondering if the dead battery can cause that?

GM's need to have the vin programmed to the replacement, Ford kept it simple, remove and replace.

My Ford F150 5.0L truck will start and run for about ten minutes then shut off and no re start because not getting fuel. I let it sit overnight and then it will start perfectly fine and do the same thing.

No this part actually sends 12 volts to the fuel pump, I had my 12 bolts coming in to relay but not going out to fuel pump. Thanks for watching.
