    Can you make a video on the housing crisis in Ireland ? Is it only in the main cities in Dublin, Cork, Galway, etc ? Or is it also prevalent in the suburbs and smaller towns as well ? Thank you.

    • @Escapingrheality
      @Escapingrheality  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! Housing crisis is not as bad in smaller towns but these places lack facilities and infrastructure and can be lonely. They also have fewer jobs so only makes sense if you are fully remote. You will also need a car to get around as public transport is quite bad. Also getting a drivers license here is a lengthy process so can delay you significantly!

    Can you please tell me, how the taxe rules in Ireland

    • @Escapingrheality
      @Escapingrheality  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hey, of course! these are the current tax rules in Ireland:
      Income Tax: Ireland has a progressive income tax system with different tax rates based on income levels. The standard income tax rates for 2022 are 20% on income up to a certain threshold and 40% on income above that threshold.There are various tax credits and deductions available to reduce taxable income.
      Universal Social Charge (USC):USC is a tax on income that funds social welfare programs.The rates for USC are progressive, with higher rates applied to higher income levels.
      Pay-Related Social Insurance (PRSI): PRSI contributions fund social insurance benefits. Employees and employers both contribute to PRSI.
      The rates vary, and there are different classes of PRSI.

      Hey, so the cost of living is quite high in Ireland so you need to have some funds ti support you, and you can find a part time job. While studying you can only do 20 hours a week, so you wont be able to earn much. As a bachelor student, you will have alot to study also so managing part time might be tough. If you have a strong financial background, then it might be easier!
