Even though we now know that Springtrap really is William, this song still feels upset. When I listen to this, I picture William walking around the burning maze during the FNAF 6 ending, looking around, as he sees Molten Freddy collapsing to the ground, Remnant spilling out of him, reminding William of the lives he claimed. Then he sees Baby, lost and afraid, but before he can reach her, Michael approaches her, and helps her. Despite her using him as a skinsuit so many years ago when she was still part of Ennard, he still comforted her. William then realizes something, as he and Michael lock eyes. William looks upon his son, and sees what he could have done. He could've paid the price himself, but instead let Michael take the bullet, sending him to do his own dirty work. Soon, Henry and Lefty, who is currently melting, releasing the Puppet, take notice of this as well. And as they all lock eyes, they realize there is nothing they can do, or even need to do. They all bid farewell to one another, as they embrace their friends & family, as all of them start succumbing to the flames. William holds onto Baby, knowing what is coming next. Baby looks at him, and gives him a comforting smile, before her green eyes fade and dim, leaving two empty eye sockets as Elizabeth's spirt leaves the amalgamation of parts that was once Circus Baby. William looks around one final time, before tearing the mask of the Spring Bonnie costume off his head, revealing his rotting flesh and cracked open skull. He takes the now lifeless body of Baby, and cradles it in his arms best he can, knowing this is the last he will see of her, and knowing that he will be going to hell. He shuts his eyes, awaiting his departure, and despite the spring locks jammed into his body, the wires coursing through his skin, and the metal parts skewering his bones, he manages to smile one last time, before the flames finally consume him. At this point I think that less people are actually vilifying Afton. From the perspective of the others, he's a monster but only because they made him out to be like that when in reality he's doing what he can to bring back his children. I obviously don't condone his actions nor do I sympathize him, because of the things he's done and the things he's created, but he might not be the true villain he was made out to be. He clearly isn't sane, but for good reason.

At this point I think that less people are actually vilifying Afton. From the perspective of the others, he's a monster but only because they made him out to be like that when in reality he's doing what he can to bring back his children. I obviously don't condone his actions nor do I sympathize him, because of the things he's done and the things he's created, but he might not be the true villain he was made out to be. He clearly isn't sane, but for good reason.
