I love this story and it reminds me of my first year in medical school. 18 years old, alone in South Africa for the first time, no bursary, no secured accommodation but now I'm about to sit for my final exam away from being a specialist. Everything sorts itself out.
Hello Olivia-Joan OMG you are about to be a specialist💃💃💃 you must be so proud of yourself, I'm so happy for you. This gives me so much hope because if you could do it, then I can definitely get through medical school and also specialize one day... #CareerWomen💪 Where are you from? 🥰
Hello Faith🌸💕 I hope you are well, so in my case they got disrupted in handling my fees on time because of the pandemic until I got a bursary, so Yes they can still fund you but for only 2 more years if your previous degree was completed within 3 years since they are only allowed to fund students for 5 years of their study, but they do not pay the full university fees for the last 2 years rather they pay I believe R70000 per year
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏 Well you do not have to apply again, rather go to the new university's fees office or email them letting them know about your situation and they will know what to do 🤗
still in Matric , just browsing but I wanted to look into BHealth Science in *Biomedical sciences* as a bridge course incase I don't get straight into Medicine at wits , would that be advisable ?

Hey Selu, did you manage to sort out your NSFAS for this year?
Do you think they can fund me even though they funded my other degree for 2 years?
Hello Faith🌸💕 I hope you are well, so in my case they got disrupted in handling my fees on time because of the pandemic until I got a bursary, so Yes they can still fund you but for only 2 more years if your previous degree was completed within 3 years since they are only allowed to fund students for 5 years of their study, but they do not pay the full university fees for the last 2 years rather they pay I believe R70000 per year
Does it mean if I completed my degree in 4years. Nsfas can still fund me for 1 more year?
