    I bought this course and I wondered why you ascend and descend differently in Section 1 Example 5?

      Great question! I utilized different patterns for ascending/descending for two reasons - firstly, to illustrate how the same notes can be played in different locations for the diatonic triads discussed in the example, and secondly because I like the sound of these ascending/descending fingerings in terms of articulation. Hope that helps!
