I was thinking of purchasing a refurbished Janome 15000. The one I recently saw is 3 yrs old and has a Power on time of 798 hours and Sew time of 132 hours is that average for the age of the machine? Or what should those numbers be telling me? Please if you can help me out I sure would appreciate it.
Denise Oneill Greetings - I have owned the 15000 for about 18 months. I think I understand your concern regarding quilting and the machine. Of course piecing is easy with the 1/4 inch foot - I find mine to be very accurate. But when it comes to using the AucQuilt software and guilting in the hoop the Janome videos are lacking in detail. I have used AcuQuilt a couple of times and it is amazing but it takes time and a bit of practice. There is a bundle in the App Store for the Janome 15000 it is $80+ but it is worth it. The machine is amazing but the instructional materials for the 15000 are really lacking in details and support. I joined the FB group for the 15000 and they are a great group and can provide excellent support.
This is the best, simple to follow and very informative, thank you

Is that an operating manual in the lower right hand corner? Oh, thanks for the video...researching to replace my Pfaff

So are you after videos on the Acuful Quilt system or Free Motion type quilting?
