A couple things I've struggled with as a player 1. Filter and when the switch your filter or where to get a good one so that you know you aren't hiding things you need (finding someone you can trust) 2. Knowing what really matters when your first getting your Atlas going for your build (This can probably be found other places on the internet) 3. Knowing how to tell when damage is enough to do XYZ (Bosses or progress from White to Yellow to Red) 4. Knowing how to craft things after you get to the "Beginner/Medium" phase of a build I really appreciate you content creators that make the life of a Full time working Dad of 4 that's 41 easier. I can't thank you and the others like you enough. Stay sane Exile.
1. Filterblade website is your one stop shop. Just do Semi-strict and you'll be OK. 2. Usually a POB will have a leveling tree, but a general rule is Health and whatever stats scale your damage while moving in the general path so that respecing is cheaper. This might be easier that even with multiple passive trees now. 3. If you fight a boss and you find yourself saying "holy shit that was fast", you're in a good spot damage wise. In POB, you should be able to be getting through reds with a couple hundred thousand DPS. 4. This is a whole can of worms that even people playing the game for thousands of hours have yet to master. This is what also separates the casuals from the elites. If you can truly understand crafting, this game becomes easy.

Man I tell you. I followed the guide and while farming both gems in mercy lab I found a sephirot card which sold for 115c, a unique jewel which sold for 3 divine and had one hard drop divine. I'm still missing Lancing Steel of Spraying as of now, but I'm pretty rich now and can buy decent starting gear.

Leap Slam is used mainly as a movement skill. Leap Slam + Faster Attacks Support is a good support as this will increase the speed of travel. With Frostblink you now have two movement speed skills to use.
I've been looking over this build a lot today. Would be curious to know how this performs (or doesn't) until you have the two transfigured gems. Looking forward to the build guide.
I tried it out too, this is what I gathered: You really need lancing steel of spraying, this is likely the single best trigger attack for coc in the entire game, so I would repeat merciless lab farming until I got one, good thing is arma brand kick ass until map farming merciless lab is not a big deal. As for DD, I used VD of seething because cruel lab randomly give me one, which is not good but it works (btw, I spec out of arma brand and self cast VD, that's stupid, arma brand is better before map), it totally can be used as an alternative. As for the must have items, lycosidae is a good option before you unlock the hits cannot be evaded mod, and a kikazaru ring, it gives so much regen for life and ES, very useful when you don't have good gear, oh and with inquisitor consecrated ground you are immune to curses.

Some things are different I suppose but I've done DD in SSF in the past and would not recommend it unless you are very exp. player. Hard to scale into ubers
@@nKs_D4 I would say im experienced, killed a lot of Ubers with other build and stuff. I can switch builds at some point or let my friends to kill them, so i guess it would be ok. Just Merc Lab prison sadly.
i feel like doing a wintertide brand start would be a lot easier and still maintain a very similar tree for easy respec. like 7 points diff and still go arma later
It's more of an all rounder build, it can boss but I wouldn't call it a bosser if that makes sense. I will be making a hexblast guide as well which is more of a bosser in the traditional way.
Dual wield mastery requires you to use 2 different weapons, doesn't need to be specifically axe and sword but those are the 2 with fastest attack speed early on.

When levelling would you see it as worth picking up Eldritch Battery when approaching the shadow area or should you still just go EB when you swap?

Honestly BBR is kinda bad, it gets decent in act 2 when you get cruelty but BBB is definitely what you want.

Total newbie here. Do we really need leap slam (and swapping??) or can we just use frostblink? Is leap slam just for faster movement?
Leap Slam is used mainly as a movement skill. Leap Slam + Faster Attacks Support is a good support as this will increase the speed of travel.
With Frostblink you now have two movement speed skills to use.

You just can't play the build without the transfig gems, that's the biggest downside of the build, but it's definitely worth the farm

i've not seen all for now but thx for all this tips. If you have a good filter for trading hc this league it's hard to have very good configuration.

I stop weapon swapping after double flat fire to spells craft in Solaris 2 and no, you need 2 different weapon types for that mastery

Why not get Runebinder when leveling for additional brand on enemies?
Just not needed honestly, doesn't help your clear and your single target comes from Cremation

It's okay at best at sanctum, if you want to farm sanctum only, I would choose a different build (like Hexblast miner)

Don't recommend the build for SSF but if you really want to, you could play self cast chain DD until 5link.
