Dear Steve, you are a wonderful piano player (and singer too) and you really have mastered the Elton style! I have a question regarding your tutorials - do you have any Elton tutorials where you teach how to play the songs *exactly* how you play them? With all the fills, runs and licks that you use? I can't sight read piano music, but I guess I'm an intermediate player. I can play lots of Elton songs, but I don't have the same amazing Elton touch that you have. I try my best to replicate how Elton plays, but something is missing. I would absolutely love a series of 'advanced' tutorials where you teach Elton songs exactly how you play them - tutorials aimed at intermediate players so you can explain quickly and assume people know all the basic chords and inversions etc. meaning you don't have to keep explaining them. I would happy pay for such tutorials! You are a rare talent and I really appreciate you taking your time to share your greatness with all of us here on RUclips. Thanks!

On part 5 of Steve’s “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down” tutorial, he does a break down of Elton licks and fills that is really good. Although he’s showing how they fit in that particular song, I find that the style crosses over into all Elton’s songs.

While I love Elton, his live shows consist mostly of his 70s catalogue, which I like the LEAST. I became a fan with his Ice on Fire album in 1985 and loved his 80s and 90s material, which he tossed in his live shows, with the exception of I'm Still Standing.
