I found the red bears and the hawks to feel the same, sound similar (but not identical since red bears sound more balanced to me), but suffer the same restrictions (avoid sweat, don’t carry in pocket or might crack into pieces, etc).
If I were based in the UK, I’d only buy the hawks, but since I’m in US, and impatient with postal service, I’m sticking with red bears, blue chips, and cheap bags of JP picks.

Your sound is cleaner with the Jazz III be you're playing is way better with it too. Sorry if that's not your impression. I own several Red Bears and I love their sound but man are they hard to control. It's almost like the material sticks to the strings.

My playing was pretty sloppy in this either way lol, tone comes down to preference but I can assure you my playing is better with the Hawk regardless of whatever these 15 second demos might imply. I played on this one for almost a year and just recently purchased another - for me they glide right over the strings!

I never thought I'd see Hawk Picks described as 'cheaper'.
