Truth is this applies to everything across the board. All things in every career and genre went specialty in the late 80s. It’s never been sAme since. ❤️
This ladies and gentlemen is REAL talent. Beautiful women dancing in high heels, men fit, all dancing together in step. Rita Hayworth, Fred Astair, Gene Kelly. The energy, the grace, the showmanship. Not performer alive today can hold a candle to these stars.
My grandfather was a camera man on several of these films she made and he said she was more breathtaking in person than she was even on a big screen. He said men used to stop breathing, literally, when she would walk too close to them. In my opinion she makes the fabled Marilyn Monroe look like a tomboy in skirts. Rita and Hedy Lamar may have been the two most beautiful and talented women in their generation, and Lamar was smart as hell, too.
Whenever I watch Rita Hayworth dance she looks like she's having the time of her life. Truly one of a kind; the likes of which we'll probably never see again.
Wow! What a fantastic video compilation of fine dancing by many fine actors and actresses. And to find each dance movement of many old classic movies to synch with the rhythm of the overlayed background music of the 1970s Bee Gees' Staying Alive is superb. Absolutely superb! I thank you wholeheartedly for sharing this fine upload. I love it. And all the marvelous fine dancers of the vintage era. Brilliantly done well. ❤️❤️❤️🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃💇♀️
The synchronization of the music with the dancing is fantastic! Whoever put this together should get an award. Rita was just a Goddess of Dancing, just perfection.
Rita Hayworth was a stunningly good looking woman, but her beauty increased by orders of magnitude when her unalloyed joy and happiness shone through in her dance routines. What a ray of light she was.
WOW!!!! Whoever created this clip has got to be a genius. I've done my fair share of video editing, and this was a huge effort. Sourcing all of the clips and syncing them to the music is phenomenal. Thank you for sharing.
I have to agree ! She kept right up with Astaire who at the time was regarded as the greatest dancer in the World. She had a ridiculously beautiful body, and gorgeous face and seductive flaming Red hair (although dyed) so what She had no equal , you're right.
She danced with other great male dancers - great physicality and stage craft. And she kept up and did it all backwards in heels and a dress! - what a dame! (and smokin' hot with it!)
Pretty? No Beautiful. Intelligent Yes, Great Dancer ? anyone who could kept up with Astaire was Great, She could sing not Great but she didn't have to sing great. Rita Hayworth was the BEST ! she had no equal.
Rita Hayworth was unbelievably beautiful and she could dance to anything, together with Fred Astaire they were the perfect dance partners together, RIP Rita I love you
Whoever put these film clips together did a BRILLIANT job. Rita matches the Bee Gees song so well you'd think she was actually dancing to it. Such a beautiful woman, excellent dancer and fine actress.
Whoever put this little Diddy together should get the biggest award ever given! Dance steps from 70, 80 year old movies timed to music from another generation! Absolutely brilliant!
What strikes me the most, after the beauty, enthusiasm, grace etc. is the sheer joy she expresses in her dancing. She's obviously enjoying dancing and enjoying dancing for us... Oh, we need more joy.
That's Because you are a Wise Man. I came of age during the 80' and if I could live in any Decade for all of Eternity it would be the 80's ..BUT, MIss Hayworth and Mr. Astaire would Have to join me.
She is graceful but what I love is her smile. Sometimes it looks like she don't follow through her moves but she is having fun like any girl would be having at a dance. It's that quality that makes you love her and for me, I put her way above Marlyn Monroe.
Their legs were perfectly 'matched' in length so the line was beautiful and they were able to synch movements. Same with Cyd Charise, who I believe he finally did admit was his favorite partner.
Perhaps not only just Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees), but new generations falling in love with this beautiful Woman with whome we get to know with your valiant effort to capture her elegance and beauty! I enjoyed watching her because she captures what I imagine it must have felt like in a world where there is little left but for the hope that must endure during war time. Excellent synchronicity to the vibe of the Bee Gees as well. Great work!
Sometimes you wish the old movie stars could come back and see how much they are appreciated by this generation and put their dance to a new kind of music.
The term 'screen goddess' is often used to describe actresses from that period. But Rita Hayworth was the only one who ever fitted that title. A stunning performer in every way.
What an amazing dancer and so beautiful too, together with Fred Astair they danced perfectly, could watch her all day, a mesmerizing beutiful woman RIP
I would like to claim .. "I'm Rita's biggest fan" .. But there's a million people out there ahead of me .. But I can say this, I've seen every one of her movies... and I love this video. Great job. !!!
As Ann Richards, former governor of Texas, once said: "The women did everything the men did, but in high heels and backwards." Very, very nice video - well edited and smooth.
Good Gracious, who is the absolute genius that put this song and film together? Take a bow maestro, you deserve my respect of your abilities. Amazing, absolutely wonderful.
What an awesome talent. Sorry I missed her great days but wow could she dance and just a pleasure to watch doing it. To the person that put this together....just fantastic work.
When I watch this video , She never stops smiling. She is matching Fred dance step by dance step and she is having a ball. She was a beautiful, talented , and last but not least, total class.
Completely agree with you Karen!! It's so sad many people today don't realize she was not only a great actress, but a fabulous dancer as well!! Just yesterday someone mentioned to me they saw her in an old cowboy movie, where she played a gypsy, and danced. And they were stunned. Can't wait to forward this to them.
These movies and actors/ actresses are timeless, and sadly there will never be anyone like them again. Rita Hayworth, Ginger Roger's, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly to name a few of the best dancers. 🕺 💃 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Wow! Rita Hayworth was one of the most beautiful and talented women, ever. Love the flared shorts! Great editing and synchronizing. Thanks so much for this fun video. Makes a person happy, doesn't it?
Love this video of the beautiful Rita Hayworth especially the three small clips of her with Sinatra. You can tell by the expression on his face he's thoroughly enjoying sharing the stage with her
Unlike most stars who boringly insist on always being front and centre of every scene (I'm looking at you, Tom Hanks), Sinatra was quite self-effacing, eg in The Manchurian Candidate, From Here To Eternity or Guys And Dolls. In fact in Guys (on the Sit Down You're Rockin The Boat number) he's occasionally completely obscured by the other singers.
WOW! THANK YOU for this video. They say everyone out there has a doppelganger twin of themselves. I can honestly say that Rita Hayworth was my mother's twin! It is absolutely spooky to look at her pictures and not freak out a bit. My Dad used to say she was so easy to mistake her for Hayworth that people would ask for her autograph and not believe it was not her when she told them. Plus my mother was a gifted ballroom dancer. She unfortunately got MS when there was no treatment and ended up paralyzed. Another sad ending just like Ms Hayworth's loss to Alzheimer's. How she looked at all stages of her life, always in spike-high heels and stunningly dressed, really mirrored Rita Hayworth. When I miss my mother now that she passed in 1989, all I have to do is look at Rita Hayworth and my mother's pictures and it comforts my heart. May they both "Dance IN Peace"...I love you Momma
Somebody spent serious time putting this incredible video together. Hayworth was truly one of the most beautiful women ever to appear on the silver screen. Very talented, too. Watch "Gilda" if you get the chance. Ford and Hayworth at the top of their game. Where have all the flowers gone...……..
Whoevert put this together is a sheer genius ! At 1:45 when the screm comes in, it is flawless. Rita also knew she was the best and she danced flawlessly. The effortless and flawless dancing came from a woman who definately knew what she was doing! A spirit in motion.
An absolute master piece of video editing, research, and synchronisation. Thank you so much for your time and effort putting this together. I sincerely hope you are proud; you should be! All the best to you and yours.
NEVER EVER HAVE I EVER~ Ive been a fan of this genre for years now and I am totally blown away!!! The editing is sheer perfection. Virtually if not literally every single footfall and move is cut to sync with the music as though it was in its original form. BRAVO! Thank you!
What a great video. I have always been a fan of 1940's women Actresses & singers even though all of those beautiful women were old enough to be my mother. They appeared to me to have much more class & style than today's Actresses.
Back in the day, you had to do it all. Sing, dance, comedy, drama. This level of talent is unmatched today.
Fred astaire even composed songs
Rita had talent
No one like her before, since,or ever will be like RITA !
But if you can make crasp remarks about every body orifice, then you are number 1.
I know life was better in the 50s-70s.
Truth is this applies to everything across the board. All things in every career and genre went specialty in the late 80s. It’s never been sAme since. ❤️

Really unbelievable. SUBERB, METICULOUS, DEDICATED WORK.
Absolutely
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎁
@@foresttemple1380 yeah "they don't make 'em like they used too?
Yep, they've got more talent than anyone today.
My grandfather was a camera man on several of these films she made and he said she was more breathtaking in person than she was even on a big screen. If you’ve seen Shawshank redemption, when Andy wants a poster he wants Rita not Marilyn. Just sayin
Rita and Marilyn. Both beautiful and talented women. I don't agree with your assessment of Marilyn, bro.
Rita was sooo talented. She should have been featured more.
Rita had it all! Pure beauty, sensuality, dancing talent, singing talent, acting!! No wonder she was known as a Goddess!!
Whenever I watch Rita Hayworth dance she looks like she's having the time of her life. Truly one of a kind; the likes of which we'll probably never see again.

Every one of these dancers was bursting with talent. The golden age of entertainment.
Rita Hayworth is also one of those stars that lights up the screen naturally. A great performer and a great beauty and full of charm.
A very beautiful woman that, somehow, became even more so when she danced. The joy on her face is amazing, especially when dancing with Fred Astaire.
Fred Astaire actually preferred Rita to Ginger because Rita added excitement to the choreography! It was a tough question for him to answer!
She floats like an angel. Fred was technical and led but let his partner shine. Both amazing.
Rita Hayworth has no equal
Simply fabulous! Rip rita.hayworth
Rita. WOW!
I have to agree ! She kept right up with Astaire who at the time was regarded as the greatest dancer in the World. She had a ridiculously beautiful body, and gorgeous face and seductive flaming Red hair (although dyed) so what She had no equal , you're right.
she is alive . she cant die
Man, that smile! Astare said that Rita was his favorite dance partner. I can understand why. Always pure class!!
She danced with other great male dancers - great physicality and stage craft. And she kept up and did it all backwards in heels and a dress! - what a dame! (and smokin' hot with it!)
The best dancer with the best legs, best red hair, best smile, I can go on. I just wish she could be here to see this.
She was the complete "package" --- pretty, intelligent, great dancer, great actress, great singer ... great everything. Those were the golden years!
Pretty? No Beautiful. Intelligent Yes, Great Dancer ? anyone who could kept up with Astaire was Great, She could sing not Great but she didn't have to sing great. Rita Hayworth was the BEST ! she had no equal.
Absolutely gorgeous lady. How times have changed, that's what a real woman looks like.
Now we have Lady ga ga!
Great music combination to uninmitable talents, golden age of dancing! Respect 🙏🏻🌹
Rita Hayworth was unbelievably beautiful and she could dance to anything, together with Fred Astaire they were the perfect dance partners together, RIP Rita I love you

That's when actors and actresses could act, sing, and dance! Real talent! Not like the slugs of today.
They had talent that is timeless.
Yes,back than popcorn was a dime when we all went to the theater to watch all this.
Ах,Рита,умница, красавица!Очень талантливая была!К сожалению,таких сейчас в кино больше нет.
Браво,Рита!!!
What strikes me the most, after the beauty, enthusiasm, grace etc. is the sheer joy she expresses in her dancing. She's obviously enjoying dancing and enjoying dancing for us... Oh, we need more joy.
Rita Hayworth is the only reason I could stand listening to a BeeGees song until the end.
Fred Astaire was quoted as saying Rita Hayworth was one of the most graceful dancers he had ever Danced with! I would agree with Fred!
That's Because you are a Wise Man.
I came of age during the 80' and if I could live in any Decade for all of Eternity it would be the 80's ..BUT,
MIss Hayworth and Mr. Astaire would Have to join me.

Cannot stop watching Rita Hayworth, stunning, fabulous dancer, sexy, had it all. I’m in my seventies now but nothing has compared to her.
One of the most Beautiful. Talented but underrated. Yet 1 movie made her an Icon. In 300 yrs time people know who GILDA was. For ever Rita Hayworth ❤🌹
Very nice and she didnt have to use any vulgarity, costume malfunctions , tatoo's filthy language or nudity Just natural beauty and talent.
Rita Hayworth was a silver screen goddess. 🥰😍🤩😘😗😀
Fell in love with her when I was 12 years old! What a beautiful and talented woman ! They don’t make them like that anymore!
In those Days , we enjoyed TALENT!!! Hard work , beauty & quality ................ She was just gorgeous! and we miss them all dearly .
Some people are born with everything. Hayworth had it all: beauty, brains, great singer and dancer as well as actress. She had it all. Great video.
I agree with all but the singing. Most of her singing was dubbed..
Wow, what a fabulous dancer was Rita Hayworth So too was the great Fred astair and Gene Kelly. Magical
Loved this, really great dancing. So Rita truely had talent, not just the beautiful WW2 pinup girl.
She had a dancing career before turning into Rita hayworth. And, wow, does it show. She just is totally at ease dancing up a storm. And what a beauty!
Absolutely agree - what an icon
Marilyn Monroe .beautiful but could not dance like Rita Hayworth
A lifetime of practice, the gift of skill and the joy of beauty.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Rita Hayworth.. Dancer, star, gorgeous redhead... Who could want more....?
What an amazing dancer and so beautiful too, together with Fred Astair they danced perfectly, could watch her all day, a mesmerizing beutiful woman RIP
I can’t get over the genius of the editors of these types of video clips. I absolutely am in awe and grateful.
Love watching this charming lady.
Excellent Rita. R.I.P.
Attributed to everyone from Ginger Rogers (didn't) to Gloria Steinem (more likely), but it's a great line.
Don't know of anybody else who can dance like Rita Hayworth and Fred Astaire. Fantastic video.
Good Gracious, who is the absolute genius that put this song and film together? Take a bow maestro, you deserve my respect of your abilities. Amazing, absolutely wonderful.
Yes CCC would love to know who is the artist /editor... they deserve an award 🏆!
GENIUS
Left me awestruck! excellent work! Thank you!
What an awesome talent. Sorry I missed her great days but wow could she dance and just a pleasure to watch doing it. To the person that put this together....just fantastic work.
This is OSCAR level editing , 100 % !
When I watch this video , She never stops smiling. She is matching Fred dance step by dance step and she is having a ball. She was a beautiful, talented , and last but not least, total class.
Rita Hayworth is amazing and gorgeous,I wish she was still with us, but in our hearts and memories, she is
The ease and naturalness of her dance moves is still uncontested.
I totally agree with you ! Cheers Eddie
A gifted dancer that could keep up with Fred Astaire! One of the most beautiful woman of those days as well.
Gina Dean Fred Astaire kept up with her...
This was talent... They could sing, dance AND act. Dynamite talent.
Rita to me was one of the worlds most natural beauties and a great talent xx
Completely agree with you Karen!! It's so sad many people today don't realize she was not only a great actress, but a fabulous dancer as well!! I love her, but the short hair with Sinatra. Nooo.
She just floats ! Never misses a beat. The part I love about Rita is does it all with a beautiful smile. She gave a new meaning to the word class!!!!
Brilliant posting….thank you for helping to keep Rita in today’s consciousness….
I only look at her face. Such a smile, it's unstoppable!
Whoever put this together is a genius. Best dancers ever, MJ and RH
The timing of the dance moves to the music is sensational !
It was a wonderful time to grow up with those memories to carry with you.
I'd forgotten how lovely she was, this is a great refresher.
One of the most mesmerizing and compelling dancers of all time. She commanded your attention. She was the epitome of what it was to be lovely.
I hope these famous dancers will be shown for many years to come just to show future generations what dancing is really all about.
WOW! THANK YOU for this video. They say everyone out there has a doppelganger twin of themselves. I can honestly say that Rita Hayworth was my mother's twin! EVEN FRRD ASTAIRE SAID THAT RITA HAYWORTH WAS THE BEST DANCER HE EVER DANCED WITH !!!
If ever there was a feel good video, this is it. It's mesmerizing.
Well done whoever put this clip together. These mash up clips always make me smile
Came for the mono mix of The Bee Gees classic. Stayed (alive!) for Rita (and Fred and Gene and the others).
Rita was so amazing and full of talent!
She did the Hollywood gig
her own way ✌️☮️❤️
Somebody spent serious time putting this incredible video together. Hayworth was truly one of the most beautiful women ever to appear on the silver screen. Very talented, too. Watch "Gilda" if you get the chance. Ford and Hayworth at the top of their game. Where have all the flowers gone...……..

Rita's dancing was so awesome and classy!
Thomas P well said
How lovely she was! Awesome video, great song, impeccable timing, and matching of clips.
Hayworth's beauty will transcend the ages.
Oh my, I wish they made movies like this today. Just pure talent and entertainment.
An absolute master piece of video editing, research, and synchronisation. Thank you so much for your time and effort putting this together. I sincerely hope you are proud; you should be! All the best to you and yours.
Loved her in Gilda so beautiful 🤩
She was a professional dancer way back
Mega talent
Gorgeous
NEVER EVER HAVE I EVER~ Ive been a fan of this genre for years now and I am totally blown away!!! The editing is sheer perfection. Virtually if not literally every single footfall and move is cut to sync with the music as though it was in its original form. BRAVO! Thank you!
What an amazing. lady! Not only is she the most beautiful woman, ever,, but she was so super talented. So fun to see this. Thank you! Well done!
My goodness...I am so in love with Rita Hayworth!!😍
Hollywood women today ain't got nothing on Rita.
i do believe thats a VERY long line to stand in....LOL
Will never be another like her. She had everything and could do everything...beautiful.
She’s gorgeous and wow. Can she dance. Lock me in a room with bunch of these older movie and I’d be happy. Nothing today can compare.
I have watched this at least 3 dozen times and never get tired of it. In my next life I want to be the second Rita Hayworth.
Quite a few gentlemen would rather be Rita Hayworth's love interest.
What a great video. I have always been a fan of 1940's women Actresses & singers even though all of those beautiful women were old enough to be my mother. They appeared to me to have much more class & style than today's Actresses.
O yes, the Era I loved.
So true ❤❤❤❤❤😊
If there were a RUclips equivalent to the Oscar for best editing, this video would win hands down!
Unbelievable job. Reminds me of my mom who was a June Taylor dancer. Rita Hayworth is DELICIOUS!!
Whoa! Who'd have thought it. They were disco before Disco.🕺💃
Great compilation and tribute to a great lady and superb dancer!
See, they had the moves back then , just had to wait for the BeeGees to add the music , bloody well done
Rita was magic. She commanded attention without demanding it or putting anyone else down. Classy
