    I absolutely adore this DIY! I can't wait to try this myself. One thing though, with using nail polish, if someone decides to use polymer clay, the polish will make the surface sticky over time. I had to learn that the hard way. I also wanted to add that mod poge mixed with a good glow powder would be a great option as well.

    • @Randomona

    I believe that forging the clay to the point of the ceramics will make a sound much more clacky. But in this case we've got to use the metal as the filling of the head, and it's not clear to me yet - how to connect this forged ceramic head to the plastic spring afterwards.

    Краса!У вас золоті руки!🌻🌻🌻
    Я робила трохи інакше.Вирізала з фольги (з пивної баночки) "квітку" на три пелюстки, усередині пробивала отвір і вкручувала маленьку пружину(з кулькової ручки).Кидала кілька намистин,і загинала "пелюстки квітки" уверх(як у квітки фізаліса),отвори закривала скотчем до половини майбутньої голівки.Ліпила голівку з полімерної глини.Також ліпила тулуб,у який вставляла вушко з проволоки.Потім накручувала пружину у голові на вушко у тулубі, майже до упору.Фарбувала,лакувала.
    Теж прикольно, особливо у машині смішно голівкою торохтить!😆😆😆
    Якщо дуже туго накрутити пружинку і голівка не хитається, достатньо трохи потягнути голівку:пружина розтягується і голівка "киває"...😊

    • @Randomona
      @Randomona  2 года назад

      Thank you! :) I haven't tried it, because I'm worried that the air dry clay will soften again outside.. But maybe with enough coats of paint or varnish it's fine?

    • @noctilucera7585
      @noctilucera7585 2 года назад +1

      My experiences with air dry clay is that it softens, even with multiple layers of vanish, and this project even planed to leave a hole (neck part) so I dont think it will hold, I am sorry.
      Maybe you could try it with metall wire instead of plastic in the middle and polymer clay?
      I am also thinking about something similar :)

      Hi 🥰 I'm really glad you like it! Yes the nail polish I used glows in the dark.
      You mean you have glow in the dark paint? I don't think you can mix the paint with nail polish.. But you can just use the paint - it may just be less pigmented than nail polish.
      Hope that helps!

      Oh that's cool! I believe you can even mix the powder into your clay. And I think you could mix it with nail polish, but the texture may be affected.
