That is such a Kick~Ass saw, man I wish I could Win a saw like that!!! For when we start our OFF-grid home!!! We are going to start a RUclips Channel and bring everyone on our Journey from cutting to the 1st tree to final build!!! Liked#134!!!
I have trouble differentiating between the 4 stroke/burbling sound and the rev limiter sound with this saw. Once I'm loaded in the wood, the what-ever sound disappears and I'm cutting near 9600-10,000 rpm. If I was forced to choose one saw out of my 20 saws (35cc to 90 cc), it would be a 60cc saw. Fortunately I do not have to make this decision and I use a 40 cc saw for brush cleaning and burning and up to my 90cc saws for large deadfalls that need bucking and burning. A ported 60cc saw would probably take care of 85% of all my cutting and clearing needs. It's relatively lightweight enough to not wear me out and strong enough to handle the larger projects.
The amount of knowledge, skill and confidence you have gained in such a short time is impressive and it shows in this build. Your buddy is getting one hell of an upgrade!
Thanks Matt. The real problem with these is the cavernous combustion chamber. It's deep and goes all the way to the edges. So the only way to make compression is with a really low exhaust roof OR cut the combustion chamber WILDLY deep, but... can't do that because the piston skirt is too short. So...the only option becomes welding the chamber. Just wanted to tell somebody that. Thanks for listening.
You made a good saw great , again! The black plastic is nice and cool stickers Very nice job on pipe Proper distance from cylinder makes it work! Excellent explanation on the jet tuning
On the exhaust port, how much do you think you went up in an inches measurement? 20 thousandths? More? Or even in MM.. I have everything to do this except a degree wheel, just wanting a very mild port and base delete. Planned on motoseal for the base. Much appreciated if you do answer this.
I let my son use my 590 timberwolf. He more or less said this all is mine. Me being a good dad I said keep it. I went out and bought the echo cs620p with a 24 inch bar. I'm never going to let my son run the cs620p or my ms400cm chainsaw or my cs7310p. My echo CS 800p anyone can run that if they can pick it up! Keep up the great videos my friend.
I'd love that 800. I'm running downhill bad but I'm still 6ft4 250lbs with one brand new knee, covid stuff has put mt left knee bone to bone and I'm just waiting for the surgeon to ok it but now I'm having vain trouble bla bla bla blablabla I'm may never in other words it could be over but I'll run my 126 woodland mills sawmill till I'm gone no matter what the government shuts down over a "cold virus" . If I'd gotten my surgery 2 weeks before all that crazy shut down stuff, I'd be in great shape but now, in a way I may die from covid. Not covid virus (that I never had by the way) but covid politicians... yep.. the mask wearing shut it all down for us but they continued to party on and live it up!. Hell I'm sorry 😞but..
I seen my first hammerhead muffler from Southern Firewood when he was working on it. Nice saw and was surprised when I seen you making the same pipe though. I enjoy your videos on the 590 cause I bought one and I’ve learned a lot from watching you. Good work
@@woodchuker570 just my opinion. I have a couple and they are excellent saws. My neighbor has a 590 for the $750 with tax I just don't find it very good. I paid $200 for my 61. With a 50mm piston upgrade its unbeatable for the price. Like I said . Just my opinion.
Have you looked into a chainsaw dyno? I don't know anything about them but it would be really cool to see you testing all these different saws on a dyno.
saw sounds like crap! LOL i have found that u r better off leaving these saws nearly completely stock. they r what they r. should have bought a 620. i decided to sell my 590 if i can, and buy a 362. always did like stihls and huskys/jons
Totally disagree, but that's alright! I find that a quality muffler mod makes a tremendous difference. And I think this Port job gave a good bit more power as well. It's running very well.
Save up a little more and get the 400cm. The upgrades are worth the extra cost. I got mine with a 25" bar for under 800. Swapped it out with a 20" and kept the big bar for something else. It's worth it. Trust me.
@@markatkinson9963 Glad to have new subs. Welcome to the channel! I have a 400cm. Great saw. Check out my video of the 400 vs the 590 with a 36" bar. The 590 simply has no competition as the best bang for the buck saw. I find that a lot of Stihl guys think the Echos are like Walmart quality. That's just weird to me. Echos are just as good of quality, model-for-model. Stihl literally doesn't have a similar model of saw that can compete with the 590, and neither does Husky.
You did a DAMN GOOD BUILD! Killer saw!!

You're doing a fine job at what you're doing B.
Thanks Josh!
I would be calling that one the Jackal. That's what it sounds like. The beginning of Lumberjack.

Hi kawan 👍salam kenal dari Indonesia 👍saya suka dengan mesin2 gergaji. 👍👍
Yeah buddy
I take safety chains and nip the safety end off with a grinder. :)
That'll do it!

Solid modifications to a great saw👍🏻 he's sure to love it!
It really turned out nice!
Good morning my man 🙋 I love waking up to great videos 👍
Great video Boedy. Really like the saw and the pipe.
Great start to the morning
Is this the Christmas giveaway saw? If so please downt get my new saw to dirty!
No, this is for my friend, but the Christmas giveaway saw will be just like it almost.
Great job 👍
I love the 590's, this one looks like a runner for sure!
Good stuff buddy. I’m going to pick up a 590 today. Good candidate for a 80cc hybrid

Cool saw. Love the stickers. Do you make them yourself?
Well it definitely looks slick
Wow beautiful man another great video and another great song
Nice port and muffler job! Love the way it sounds!
Echo is a saw I have never owned.
They make a great reliable saw.
Nice work brother..
Could have been a display model?
Nice job !! Thats a good running 590
Think looks sounds and cuts great man good job brotha
I still think my Husky 61 is a better option over those. You do a reasonable job on the looks tho. Good job
Why would the 61 be a better option?
@@Johnnyreengowondered same thing myself
Why 🤔

Muffler mod or not. Echo 590 is the best all around chainsaw for the money
Bet!
Never heard burble before😆 gonna start calling Echo saws Mr. Burblecut like the guy from the movie Willow 😆😆🤣🤣
Good one Bodie!!

@@novicelumberjack yep he has a great channel
Don't forget to send him a NL t-shirt with that saw aswell.
"Its hammer time" cant touch this you dont mess with the hammerhead
Nice Build, runs pretty. Thank you for the Numbers!
I think he might know who the saw is for, since you said what kind of saws he already has. Haha
Nice!
Can't wait to get me a 590
