Dont change that setup. Its a real world example of what you will get in real life everyday use. I like this setup. Remember, we are only relying on spot welds so to me this is the perfect expectation of what we will see in performance imo. 👍👍

Holding 100A for 10-15 seconds while maintaining above 3.5v, that's a big boost in performance. Held it for 55 seconds and stayed above 3.2v. Gotta try these in a big EDF! These should have some of the punch of Lipos.
You can make a cheap variable resistor with constantan wire. Then you can adjust the position to maintain the right current. I briefly show it in one of my vids. I'll try to link it but links often get deleted. It's in my video [006] at 6m54s. I'm using a 10m roll of 21 SWG constantan. But I'm testing a 5s pack. You might want a thicker gauge, or just have more parallel strands.

Amazing video and amazing JP40 cell, 👍 For sure, this is gonna take the throne from Molicel, 👑 Better performance, 👍 Lower Internal resistant, That's gonna produce Les. overheat, 🔥 Long range for ebikes, 🚴 For sure, i'm gonna buy and build a battery pack for my cyc x1 pro mid-drive motor. I will build something more stable to be able to keep constant Current for my high discharge testing. Right now I am limited to 40A and 3000W

Can't wait for single row tool batteries with tabless cells. Take my money 😬
That and tabless 18650s (I hope they come)

Hello can you do the same test with molicel p45b and p50b?
I have the EVE 40PL coming, The Molicel P45B but the P50B is in back order.
I have the 12ah forge. These are beasts.
