I can verify that this was shot in Savannah because I worked on this shoot. I was in college at the time and a few of us were hired to be Production Assistants (gophers). I made a few deliveries to John's house on Hilton Head, SC, and was on the set for the Paper in Fire shoot. We also shot some beach scenes for Cherry Bomb.

A real poor place in the south, and actual people who lived there. I wish I could remember what it was called so I could look it up. Might have even been about the backup singers. Bottom line, it was a fine moment.
