    This was without a question the most clear and helpful video I have found on getting a solid bass tone for worship music. I would love to see or hear how you might integrate an hx stomp into this set up! Thank you for the work on this video!!

    For Ableton think live looping, grooves, beats, sound manipulation and control. For Logic think... music

    Hello, I noticed you were using Ableton on a mac. I also made the switch to apple recently. And I am yet to decide if I will stick to Ableton or switch to Logic. I have seen many producers use Logic if they have a mac.
    Can I know what made you choose Ableton over Logic?

    • @beloved_music
      @beloved_music  4 месяца назад +1

      I made the switch to Live from Logic many years ago when I was heavy into producing electronic music, and it had features (sampling interface is very intuitive/incredibly useful for live performances/I like its automation interface) about it that just made sense for that genre, but after using it for all these years it’s just become second nature to me. The learning curve for it is steep initially, but once you get past that curve it’s a very intuitive DAW.
      In the end, all DAWs have their pros and cons, but the best DAW is the DAW you know best.

    Would love to see one on the electric guitar since tone is such a personal and unique kind of topic!

    • @beloved_music
      @beloved_music  4 месяца назад +1

      Agreed! It’s a very well-covered topic by those who do it better than I ever will, so I always shy away from covering electric guitars. Perhaps inviting a guest for this might be awesome and helpful :) thanks for watching!

    Can you show how you mix all the instruments together and how to balance each sound as a whole?

    • @beloved_music
      @beloved_music  4 месяца назад +1

      Thought about this-a very nuanced & difficult topic to teach, but this certainly changes everything when you nail it. I’ll add it to the list!

    Would you be willing to answer a couple Qs for me?
    First, what alternatives to the synth and Tone Hammer would you recommend?
    And also, what LUTs or coloring tools are you using to color this video? It’s amazing. Thanks!

    • @beloved_music
      @beloved_music  Месяц назад +1

      Hello, no problem! I believe the MXR octaver is pretty popular as an alternative. I’m not sure these days what people are using in place of the tone hammer, but any bass preamp with tone options (EQ) might be good.
      I’m not using any particular preset or LUTs for coloring, but I do use Davinci Resolve to grade all my videos ☺️ Camera is BMPCC4K with a Sigma 16-35. Hope this helps!

      @@beloved_music thank you! I’ll have to check out they MXR! And I have my eye on a tech 21 VT bass DI!
      You have great taste and eye for coloring, the glowy filter effect you have going on in this video is great also

    I think you forgot to switch the tonehmmer di to post. Both ags engaged or disengaged sounds that same

    • @beloved_music
      @beloved_music  4 месяца назад +1

      Made sure my post switch was on before hitting record! Definitely have made that mistake before. I do hear a difference, but it’s very subtle! Gain was a little lower than how I usually set it, and I also level-matched the two clips in post so we can really hear the difference in tone rather than being misguided by the loudness.
