Hello gents, I have some questions around a few items related to Recap - 1) What is the best method for capturing to a point cloud model for import into Recap ? 2) Is recap a viable means for capturing a plant piping - right now we have guys going to the plant and chasing piping runs to paper and documenting for use in eventual equipment design around this piping Any recommendations greatly appreciated!
If my z axis elevation is off on my drone scan is it possible for me to correct the elevation if I have survey points that are on the correct elevation?
I am trying to decide which product to rely on nowadays.. I believe ReCap remains behind all the other new kinds of tools such as Reality Capture or context capture in terms of capabilities. So before deciding to purchase can you please tell me ; 1- Can ReCap combine laser scans and photos at the same time in the same project? which Reality Capture and context capture can do 2- Can we use videos as a source file for Recap photo? which again Reality Capture and context capture are capable to perform 3- Can we take pictures or videos in the field with our cellphones and send them to the server right away and get the preview to result in minutes to check if we covered the whole area properly and without any gaps so when I return back to the office I will ve convenient that I got everything properly before I sit in my chair and start working on it.If I sent one of my non-professional employees to finish that task I would at least know that he got it properly before he returns back to the office :DD if you will say yes to all of these 3 questions I will dive into it right away ....I promise. I am already using Civil 3d so if ReCap will have all of the mentioned features I believe most of the 3d reality capturing engineers and users will switch into ReCap immediately ..That's how I feel at least......Cheers and waiting for your response Best regards ......

Hello greetings. I want to know why in the recap software that I have installed, I get disabled the option to open my 3d models that I just created? you can only see the icon of a cloud in the right corner of the image. Thank you
I launched a new recap project and imported a point clouds file. But After I deleted the point clouds file from local drive, nothing left in that recap project file. Is there a way to avoid this?
