Go Hokies! Clean up the slow starts, 3rd down conversions and o-line this week and we might have a shot of rolling into Miami 3-1 and confident. Don’t fix these things and we might not walk out of Norfolk happy. Let’s go!!

Just get through this week and try to get better while getting our first win ever in Norfolk, which hurts to say. Rutgers is going to be an absolute back alley fight so if we can get a W vs. ODU and stay healthy that’s huge

watched the game in the stadium start to finish, defense was genuinely great today, maybe 3 or 4 bad plays but it happens, but they were smothering marshall for 90% of the game, just can't spot teams 14 points, definitely a lot to take away from today tho

I hate general comments. First half, Drones held onto the ball too long. But Marshall was bringing an extra man on every pass play. And there was no compensation for it. Why do journalists ask "how important was....." Of course things are important

The O line is clearly better at run blocking, and Marshall's strength was their pass rush. Pound the rock and let Tuten and Thomas do their thing. The pass game will benefit immensely in my opinion. Defense looks very good.

I've been ranting and raving about getting Drones out as starting quarterback, and I am still doing that he does not Gel with the offense at all. But there is someone who needs to go worse than him. And that's offense ball caller. Tyler Owens is killing us. I realize he is in his 3rd year. But facts are facts. He needs to be replaced. As a head coach Pry has a responsibility to the college and fans and the team. The first two ball games showcase his skills. We go into Miami flat they will kill us. ""FACT"". We could have lost this one too. Some things have to be addressed immediately, and this is one of those things. Making the hard decisions is why Pry is making millions. Tyler Owens has got to go now. As in NOW. This isn't a learn as you go Coaching position. And this guy is just terrible. Your neck on the line Pry , not mine. We keep up this first half stuff and you'll be going down the road regardless.

Offense should come out stronger ….. not a punt fest… otherwise we won’t stand a chance during conference play.

We down how to use crossing routes and slants and get our explosive playmaker Heath and Bradshaw in motion that would create big plays we aren't very imaginative offensively and not aggressive enough on defense im.just being honest still way to conservative offensively as well but at least we beat Marshall but I can lie I'm nervous about ODU cause they had South Carolina on the ropes and probably should have won that game

Slow start and a rough 1st half but nice job making adjustments. Please don’t try to dink and dunk the whole 1st half again. The corners played very solid on limiting Marshall’s air raid attack.
Also I hope that APR bounces back better against ODU. He had a rough game.

Maybe its just me but I dont think the atmosphere was great. Crowd wasnt into the game the way they used to be. Too many distractions. Too much music being played in between plays. Too many people worried about dancing and getting on the jumbotron rather than being engaged in the game and being as loud as they can when they need to be. But like I said, maybe its just me, I'm used to the glory days when lane stadium was one of the hardest places in the country to come play. For as crowded as that stadium was it was one of the most quiet games I've ever been to for the most part

Were we watching the same game? Our offense put up 3-points against Marshall and the crowd was booing at points in the first half. What a stupid comment.

I’ve been to every home game for the last 4 seasons, I also thought it was quiet compared to even a couple years ago - I would attribute it to being a boring game for the first half though
